Do Not Take Your Loved One To This Man
Does not listen. Wants to do everything he has already predetermined in his head with no regard to what the patient wants, is feeling or hurting or requesting. Very arrogant, cold and acts like he cares but his actions prove otherwise. His staff is great! He needs to learn how to talk to his patients with compassion and respect and to LISTEN! Don’t take your loved one to him. Find another doctor there at Baptist Cancer Center!

Excellent care
Dr. Moore and his staff provided professional care with minimal wait times. He was very good about explaining the process and went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and informed. He made immediate phone contact for follow up to check my status, and to provide biopsy results. He was highly recommended and I was very pleased with the level of care.

Regarding my last review about Moore not stopping. I had an endometrial biopsy 2weeks before from a DIFFERENT doctor and it was calm with me being informed of each movement, a nurse holding my hand and no pain. That doctor offered pain med afterwards and a pad for bleeding. MOORE, not even an aspirin offered or a pad. I was bleeding. Just “Put your britches on and results will be here by Wednesday” What a cold human being.

He informed me that he would be taking a tissue sample. Today? Yes. Will it hurt? Nah. He said if it does, I will stop. 1 minute into the procedure, it felt like a knife cutting all the way through, I SCREAMED OVER AND OVER AND OVER PLEASE STOP! PLEASE STOP!, probably 10 times, rear end raised up a foot off the table, leg twisted, hands hanging onto the wall, trying to get away from him. He wouldn't stop!! He said "GOT IT!" then stopped and said "I just saved you a whole lotta trouble" What ? going under anesthesia for this? a pain pilll? a warning? Don't say you will stop if you won't. He nor his nurse offered any words from beginning to end. Nothing. So cold. Not even a smile from either one from the time I got there until the time I left. The whole experience was a true living nightmare, tormenting. No exaggeration. I would never try to scare someone from having a biopsy performed. I pray that this man will never do this to anyone else. Heartbreaking to think that he will.

Dr. Moore became my doctor in 2004 with my first diagnosis of cancer. He is the upmost caring doctor I've ever met. He's aggressive in his approach to cancer & is very detailed in giving you facts and options. Since 2004, I've had 2 more episodes of cancer & he's always been upfront & honest with options of treatments & surgery.

care philosophy

I enjoy the relationship side of medicine where there is that unusual blending of cutting edge treatment alongside compassionate and personal interaction.  Although there is always science in that arena, sometimes the art of medicine is more readily apparent than the science behind it.
