Dictates care; no discussion with pt
Having inherited Dr. Mangan when my hematologist left UCSD, I have seen him 3 x; it was obvious he had NOT reviewed my chart prior to entering the exam room as he asked a really ignorant question that is clearly & obviously explained in my medical record! He ordered tests that cannot provide the information he needed; specifically, he ordered scans when surgically removing a lymph node is the MOST accurate way to definitively know what is going on!

A great doctor as well as a very nice person. Why you ask? He save my life! I had to T-cell leukemia at 78 years old, as of now, I am 85 and still functioning in this world. Conrad W.D., NJ PS: Enjoy the California surf ??
