Another successful surgery by Dr. Lyle
To date, I’ve had 3 very successful surgeries preformed by Dr. Lyle! My latest; a torn left quadricep tendon from the patella! I am only 11 weeks out from surgery and with rehab I am practically 100% totally recovered as if nothing ever happened! As always, the office visits I had with him and his staff leading up to the surgery were great! The wait time in his office has always been short and Dr. Lyle and his staff have always been very professional, knowledgeable, informative, caring and attentive to all of my needs! He has always taken his time to explain the whole procedure from start to finish; including post surgery rehab. At this point, it's all up to you on how far you want to come back! It's all about how hard you are willing to work at rehab! I'm not going to lie, rehab is unbelievably painful and hard but Dr Lyle did his very best repairing my knee so I did my very best in rehab and that's why my surgery was a complete success!!! Thanks again Dr. Lyle…you are truly the best!

Dr Lyle is the best ! Treated me for ankle fracture - surgery and aftercare -(dislocated and 3 fractures)— he was knowledgeable, informative and caring .. office staff was great — being a nurse , I was anxious about being immobile, being out of work for long — pain was minimal, not immobile long and back to work and walking as soon as possible .. I hope to never have another fracture but, if I do, will request him .. and recommend him to those who want excellent care . Thank you

I could not be more pleased with my experience with Dr. Lyle. He took his time, explained things thoroughly in a way I could understand. Very personable and caring. And the staff was friendly and efficient. A+ all the way around!

I saw Dr Lyle for a knee injury. I had fallen & twisted my knee & it was swollen & stiff & somewhat painful. First off, the scheduling folks were friendly & courteous. I got in on a cancellation. I was never felt to be a “bother” even though I called several times to check on getting an earlier appointment. The “upfront” staff were friendly & efficient. Dr Lyle’s bedside manner is excellent. He explained everything thoroughly, took time to answer questions, did a thorough exam on my knee, and what really impressed me was that I didn’t come in with a laptop computer and spend his time attending to it & not the patient. Dr Lyle ordered X-rays that were done on site & available for him to review & talk to me about. I had a follow visit a week later & again, he did a thorough exam & answered all my questions. I am very satisfied by the care I received & would highly recommend Dr Lyle to others with orthopedic issues.

I just had my second knee replacement by Dr Lyle. He was always professional and eager to answer questions. I had no doubts going into surgery. His medical staff was always accommodating and super friendly. I highly recommend Dr. Lyle. I have had 2 knee replacements and can now walk my dog without pain. Thank you Dr Lyle!

I was not overly impressed by him. He recommended that I return after just two weeks for a broken ankle. After the long wait time (over 2 hours) and not a lot of conversation on his part, I switched Drs.

I saw Dr. Lyle near the end of April. He had x-rays done of my hip. Saw that I had AVN in final stages and in less than 2 weeks I got a new left hip. I had been unable to walk for 5 months. Using a wheelchair and hurting every day. The day of surgery when I woke up the pain was gone. I had surgical pain but no hip pain. It has been so wonderful. Dr. Lyle took the time to talk with me and answer all my questions.

I have already recommended Dr. Lyle to my brother and he agrees with me that Dr. Lyle is a fantastic surgeon. I had fallen from a ladder back in October and broke my ankle and crushed my heel in 10 pieces. To say the least I won the "Bone Yard" award for the most broken bones in my foot/heel. Dr. Lyle performed surgery on my foot and had to put the 10 pieces back together to repair my heel and I have a plate with 7 screws for the rest of my foot. Thankful to him I am walking again 2-20-17.

I broke my left wrist on March 21, 2016. Dr. Lyle was the Orthopedist on call in the emergency room at East Alabama Medical Center. Thus began a great relationship between Doctor and patient. He was always courteous, engaging, competent and friendly: so was his staff. When I asked him to, he provided an explanation of what he was about to do. I had a great deal of trust in his opinions/decisions and so did my husband. His office was always inviting with great positive statements on his wall.

Dr. Lyle is absolutely the best left work at noon on 6/24/16 due to my left knee swelling up Dr. Lyle's office got me in immediately, we did xrays and Mri and found out I needed another surgery for as in April of this year Dr. Lyle performed surgery on my right knee. He has the patients problems and concerns at heart and listens and then does what is necessary to get the patient up and going again. Wonderful Bed side manners. Love This Man along with Gods guidance. Keep up the great work.

My husband had knee replacement surgery in January and Dr. Lyle did a GREAT job. His recovery was very successful and Dr. Lyle was very encouraging and most supportive during his rehab. We are very pleased with the success and ease of the operation. I had to have a cyst removed from my thumb in March and the scar and recovery was FANTASTIC. We are very pleased with concern and compassionate way Dr. Lyle has given us with both our surgeries. We are Blessed to have him in our community.

I had a Monteggia fracture, an ulna break and radius dislocation. This is a difficult surgery, but Dr. Lyle did not get it quite right. The surgery requires plating of the ulna fracture. The ulna feels too long and now my wrist pops and aches. After three years, the arm still aches a lot. During our last office visit, x-rays showed a non-union in the fracture. Dr. Lyle shrugged and said that it would probably heal over time. I can use my arm, but it is weaker even though it is my dominant arm.

Dr. Lyle has been very attentive to my ongoing orthopedic problems. My family and I have trusted his decisions and I have continued to follow his advise. I research all I can about the issues that continue to bother me and Dr. Lyle's treatment plans have been right in line with medical research involving the numerous problems I have encountered and are continuing to encounter. His surgery had been praised by other Doctors I have encountered since this all began - Doctors throughout the SEast.
