It’s my honor and privilege to have the opportunity to say a few words about Dr. James T. Long, as my therapist he’s giving me great insights, quite frankly it’s been a life-changing experience. He can be very direct. He won’t sugarcoat it, he’ll listen, gives you honest feedback he draws from over 50 years of experience. He has the kind of foundation, you need in a therapist. because of Dr. Long, I have such a better understanding of my emotions and how to deal with them in positive constructive way leading me down a positive pathway for a happy and successful future.

Excellent psychiatrist!
I have seen Dr. Long as my personal psychiatrist for years. I see him once a week. He is compassionate, incredibly knowledgeable, thorough, reliable, always on time and just a wonderful human being. He’s a doctor for all the right reasons. I highly recommend Dr James Long.

I am a patient of Dr Longs and would love to recommend him higher than 5 stars...but that is your limit. He is always thoughtful, respectful of me as a patient and works together with me in finding solutions to my difficulties. He has shown me how to grow emotionally and control the stress in my life. I feel very fortunate to have found him.

Terrible! Dr Long gave me a false diagnosis that he never shared with me, and put it on my record without my consent. To make things as bad as possible, when I finally discovered this 6 years later (denied insurance because of his false diagnosis), I asked him to see me again (at full cash price even) and evaluate his prior diagnosis. Even though I got letters from 5 other docs (many of whom I'd known 10+ years) saying his diagnosis was incorrect, he flat out refused to see me again, probably be
