No follow through
I leave messages and never get call backs. Dr. Lenhard also did not contact me regarding the MRI results of a pituitary macroadenoma. I only knew there was a macroadenoma becaise I get all results indeprndently. Unrelated, he prescribed me a medication for cholesterol ;there is an insurance question. I left a message. No response. The office was supposed to send my medical records (only relating to the pituitsry) to Johns Hopkins and they never did.

Dr. Lenard has been my endocrinologist for 25 years and if I could give him 10 stars, I would. I have been a Type 1 Diabetic for 50 years and I trust him with my care completely.

He was the on call doctor on a Saturday and refused to refill my wife's prescription, claiming she could wait until Monday. My wife is a type 1 diabetic with gastroparesis and needed here prescription refilled. We called multiple times through the day to get the prescription refilled and were given nothing but trouble from him. Wouldn't recommend this doctor to my worst enemy.

Dr. Lenhard is exceptionally kind, professional, knowledgeable and spends a large amount of time talking to you about your medicine, health, test results and any questions you may have. He talks to you in a way that you can easily understand him. I highly recommend him. He has cared for me for several years now both in the office and in the hospital when I was having surgery. He rocks!

Dr. Lenhard Jr. is the best of the best. He is kind, patient, thorough, informs you well, goes over all your results with you carefully. Asks you multiple times if you have any questions. Is concerned about your overall health. When hospitalized sees you regularly and spends quality care time with you.

I have always found him to be pleasant, knowledgeable, professional, supportive and helpful. I have been seeing him for two years; ever since I had cancer surgery (thyroid) at University of PA. I have no complaints. I was not thrilled at first when they relocated to the hospital, but I now like it.
