Dr. Ko was very professional. He took enough time with me, listening to me and explaining the treatment.

Dr. Ko - just did not care about my spine health
Visited two weeks ago! He did not read any notesAfter probing him, found out that he has not read anything including the previous visit notes with MRI. I had to probe and make him read so he understood and reminded him to read the notes. He ordered an MRI and wrote the notes wrong again and insurance denied again, that was the same problem two years ago with him. Careless and all he wanted to push was some anxeity medicine which has nothing to do with my situation. I would not reccomend him

Waste of time.
Should have read the reviews. He gas-lighted me, said my symptoms were not real, pretended to type my issues in the computer, and then countered a symptom HE said I would be experiencing! His exact words: 'you are not having this symptom.' (I have balance and dizziness issues). He said the results of one of my 'tests' were wrong. I took it twice in 2 separate places, 11 months apart with the same result. He ws smug, talked over me and ignored what I said. How do I know he pretended to type? My PCP said the notes only showed that I had an appointment, and my issues were ‘addressed.’ That is all. What happened to all the notes he typed with his fingers flying all over the keyboard? I believe he only wants to treat patients with sleep apnea. Listen to the symptoms, send them for tests, prescribe the CPAP and Voilà! Done. Either find another doctor or bring someone with you and take notes. Or do like he did on the computer, and 'pretend' to take notes.

If I could rate him negative stars I would as one is way too much. Please do yourself a huge favor and do not seek any type of help namely medical attention from this "DOCTOR" unless you are prepared to be demeaned, told that you're in the wrong place rather you should be at the Psychiatrist, that your real, evident neurological disorder doesn't exist (it's all in your head) although you're falling over during a two second "assessment". This man has absolutely zero bedside manner and is arrogant and rude. He actually washed his hands as I went to shake it to greet him! A person like him should have had his medical license revoked long ago, I cannot imagine who he helps (actually I can) - if you have melanin in your skin, expect degrading, subpar behavior and service that matches. This type of person will push anyone, especially a very ill person, right over the edge. Disgraceful that people like this share this beautiful world with good, wholesome people.

I wish I could give less than 1 star. "Doctor" Ko deserves a rating in the negatives. James Ko is the worst doctors I've ever had, and one of the worst over-all medical professionals I've ever met. He doesn't listen to his patients or other doctors. For the first time in my life I walked out of a doctor's appointment before the exam was finished. I saw him 3 times for the same issue: consistently increasing numbness in my right foot (that has now progressed up the outside of my calf), and sciatic pain down my right leg. I'm diabetic, and my A1C is consistently high, so I'm at risk for diabetic neuropathy (and I know it), but I also know that in 2002 (six years prior to being diagnosed diabetic) I injured myself, and had disk surgery for herniation and that due to that injury I already have nerve damage in my foot. I also know that I re-injured myself this past March, and prior to ever seeing Dr. Ko I had an MRI of my back that indicated a pinched nerve. When I first saw Dr Ko, he

I am so happy that I found this doctor. He made me feel good, explained the test results and treatment options. I have nothing bad to say about my visit. I will gladly recommend him to people who wants an honest neurology consult

Horrible doctor. Did not record main symptom of the visit in his note but decided to blame me. He could have been more nice about it, instead trying to cover his mistake. Also, he constantly asked me to take Lexapro for anxiety although I politely declined to take as I felt there's no need. He even threatened that I'll be in ER every few months if I don't take the medicine. That's when I totally lost any respect as he was being a salesman not a doctor.

Excellent service, very friendly and professional staff make appointments especially easy to schedule. Dr. Ko was able to assist me in receiving a high-tech CPAP machine which reports my sleep habits so that he can see exactly how my treatments are going. I would highly recommend Dr. Ko to anyone suffering from sleep apnea.

After car accident & spine surgery, I was diagnosed with CRPS a difficult & chronic neurological pain condition. During 1st visit, Dr. Ko was very dismissive & insinuated that it was in my head even though I had multiple nocturnal convulsions during sleep that were filmed during a Video EEG. When I asked him Qs, Dr. Ko demonstrated lack of understanding & unpreparedness so I terminated visit. Finally getting good care after waited 2.5 yrs on waitg list to see CRPS expert Dr. Aradillas in Philly.

This Dr assumed A LOT. Did not take time to listen to the problems and discredited all of the problems I came in for- not sure why though. I didnt get a good vibe from him either. wasted my time. Seeing another Doctor.

Dr. Ko has a poor bedside manor. He does NOT listen well and jumped to conclusions about what I went to see him for in the first place. His demeanor is such, that I had to walk out because of the unprofessional behavior he exuded during my 1st time visit. I recommend that you do NOT see him. You will be frustrated beyond belief!!! You are better off somewhere else with a Dr. that does not act like a quack!!!
