I was refused treatment from this office for my "substance abuse" problems before even being seen. I am a 24 year old female with bipolar disorder and was immediately asked if I drank alcohol and how much, apparently my response was "too much" for them and I was told they would not see me. I have never been more discouraged and upset after speaking with a doctors office.

Dr Kennedy knows his meds. He generally gives 10 minute appointments, but he has always taken care of me. I was in bad shape when I first saw him in '96. He prescribed Remeron the first time I saw him and that greatly helped my anxiety. I like Dr. K.

Dr. Kennedy is a wonderful doctor. He is genuinely interested in your problems and devoted to finding ways to make your life easier. He is very kind and actually listens; he trusts his patients and will actually prescribe you actual anxiety medications instead of sticking you on vistaril like Peninsula. Downside: his receptionist is the most unpleasant woman I've met in person. She has absolutely no empathy for mental health problems, and every interaction seems to personally offend her.
