Wow I've never met any doctor as extraordinary as the vascular surgeon-Dr J Hayhurst. Coming to the hospital in crisis mode I needed the assurance that my husband was going to be in good hands. He came in the room, saw the tears in my eyes, hugged me and said it's going to be alright. He sat me down and thoroughly explained the seriousness of my husband's condition. My husband needed an aortic discetion. He even drew pictures to help me see thru his eyes the jest of what he was explaining to me. So patient and with genuine concern I knew God had placed this Dr in our lives for a reason. The surgeries were a success. God is good. I would recommend Dr Hayhurst everytime!!!!!

Dr. Janes Hayhurst is a wonderful and amazing Vascular Surgeon. He implanted dad's fistula about four years ago. He performed several procedures, over the years, to keep the fistula open and flowing properly. Each time explaining in details what was going on with Dad's fistula and later with the graft he installed. Dr. Hayhurst is a very caring, thoughtful and knowledgeable surgeon who is detailed oriented and an expert at his field. We are so happy for the outstanding service provided by Dr. Hayhurst all these years. We highly recommend Dr. James Hayhurst.

Dr. Hayhurst saved my life. I was seeing another Dr. for my Triple A and said Dr. wasn't attentive, didn't listen when I said that something was wrong or that I was in pain. When I decided to get a second opinion I found Dr. Hayhurst and he found that my aneurysm was much larger than the previous physician said it was and was on the verge of rupturing. He preformed emergency surgery and repaired my aneurysm with no time to spare. He literally saved my life and I believe he is an angel.

Hands down one of the best Dr.'s we have had the privilege of working with. We moved my father to the area and needed medical care immediately for him. Dr. Hayhurst's staff made accommodations and miraculously worked us into his schedule. He's thorough, informative and has excellent bedside manner. He is worth the drive for us and has won our respect.

After having had several surgeries performed By Dr Hayhurst, I like to think we have become friends as opposed to doctor-patient. It is extremely unusual and absolutely refreshing for a surgeon with his 9obvious skill and insane schedule to make time to spend with me individually while juggling who knows how many patients. He is one of a kind and I feel privileged to have him as a surgeon and friend.

Dr. Hayhurst operated on my mother twice and there are no words to describe the excellent care he provided. His bedside manner, his obvious care and concern for his patients and his level of skill as a surgeon makes him a rare find these days. Thank you Dr. Hayhurst for everything!
