DrGrace did my carpal tunnel surgery on both wrist . Healed very well with no issues. Also just did a knee surgery. So far only some swelling and no bruising . I have been very impressed with Dr. Grace and the staff at OSMS. I have had 3 other knee surgeries at other clinics and this has been the best overall experience.

I broke my leg in half as a child and it needed a rod. I am 43 years old now and have been dealing with leg and hip pain for decades. He spent much of his time bragging about his wife and many children and I have not had a full life due to this injury. It is supposed to be recovered and it isn't. I do not recommend this doctor- you may be left in pain and your appointments could be a complete waste of time like mine were- waste of time, money, and health.

BAD EXPERIENCE. At 50 yrs of age I was told by Dr. James Grace that I needed a total right knee replacement. It was scheduled in 2015. However, that did not end my knee pain. Almost 4 years later, it was discovered by another surgeon that my knee replacement surgery done by Dr. Grace was done improperly. The tibia plate used didn't fit correctly resulting in a revision in 2019. He was arrogant and uncooperative in pursuing possible reasons for my chronic pain. He recommended the pain clinic!

I've known Dr. Grace for over 24 years. He's performed many surgeries on me over those years. I always liked him and respected him as a surgeon and a person, that ended this year. I I was told by a PA at the Bellin ED to call Dr. Grace about some problems I was having. I asked for help, but because he couldn't take 10 minutes of time to find out from me what was going on, I ended up much worse. His 2 "nurses" had no idea how to help. He's obviously not the person I thought he was. Sad.

Reverse shoulder replacement - an unusual procedure - went well. In the process of recovering now and Physical Therapist said my progess is outstanding. I credit that to the skill and dedication of Dr. Grace, his staff and the staff of Bellin Hospital. Thank you Dr. Grace!!

Dr. James Grace is an excellent surgeon who treats his patients with kindness and respect. Dr. Grace reconstructed my son's knee, replaced a knee, hip and surgically fixed a knee replacement (done by another surgeon at a different clinic) for my late, elderly husband. Dr. Grace also successfully repaired an elbow on me. My comment to Dr. Grace was always that your Mother raised you right because he treated us with such kindness and reassurance. I highly recommend him! Dolores M.

Dr. Grace is very informative and presents issues in understandable terms. He takes all the time the patient needs to answer all questions and concerns. I was very satisfied with the explanation of my procedure and ultimately with the outcome.

I sent my 86-year-old mother to the so-called orthopedic surgeon. She was treated with total disrespect no bedside manner whatsoever. Thank God she went to the Kennedy Medical Center and in less than one month she is walking driving carrying on a normal life. I will guarantee that this would not of been the case she had her surgery done by Dr. Grace. Everything written here is my opinion my opinion only, but think twice about having any surgery done by this doctor,
