My labor was a dream but everything went downhill when Dr Gaddy came in to deliver. He made me hold my breath while pushing and snapped at me when I tried to catch my breath. He rushed my delivery even though there were no complications. My baby was born in less than 20 minutes of pushing. He ignored my birth preferences (delayed cord clamping and letting me hold my baby immediately). It took 30 minutes to get stitched up and I felt every single stitch (I chose no epidural). I was flinching and saying it was painful and he didn't listen. My head felt like it would explode and I was covered from the shoulders up in purple splotchy burst capillaries. Now, eight months later, I'm going to have to seek help because I am still having issues and intimacy is impossible and excruciating. It would have been better to give birth without him there.

10 out of 10. I am the product of Dr. Gaddy's work which I just remembered when having to revisit my birth certificate - was curious if he was still practicing. As a healthy thirty-something professional with an advanced degree, I an example of his great work as an OB/GYN. My mom was an older mom and his care allowed her to have two successful healthy births.
