Dr. James Frederick, MD

I chose him for prenatal care/birth from word of mouth recommendations. -The office is in the hospital complex; staff are organized, quick, and professional -The way he does billing for prenatal care/births basically maxes out your deductible so you owe next to nothing for the hospital - He applies for grants so all patients have access to ACOG recommended services that might not be covered under their insurance. - He uses open-ended questions and asks "What else?" until your questions and concerns are all answered, very thorough initial assessment, concise education, and explains what to expect before he does anything and at your next visit. -He has exceptional rapport with the hospital staff. -He does telehealth and great follow-up. -His PA is knowledgeable and has a similar bedside manner. -He does not default to any invasive procedures, and tries his best to perform all his patients' births. -I felt very safe and empowered, and am staying for regular gyn. care.

I need to find a primary care doctor just like him. He was so calm, respectful, and he explained things clearly and thoroughly and listened so well. We just had our first visit, but I wanted to share that after this visit, I realized this was the first time I've ever seen a really competent, respectful physician. My husband came with me to the appointment as well, and he was included and comfortable through the whole thing. We left feeling educated, capable, and safe.

I’ve been going to Dr.Frederick for 12 years and he is absolutely THE BEST! He has always taken time to answer and explain in full detail to any questions or concerns I have. He is one of the few doctors left with great bedside manners and truly cares about his patients! Never change Doc, any of us who have you treating us are very blessed!

Dr. Frederick is kind, professional, and seems to genuinely care about his patients. He always take time to make sure I can ask any and all questions I have, and takes the time to explain his answers thoroughly. He is an awesome doctor! Would recommend to anyone.

Dr. Frederick is a awesome doctor , he always takes the time to explain what’s going on . And always takes the time to listen to concerns of his patients . He delivered my daughter by csection and I Felt at ease going into the delivery room . I knew I was in good hands ! And he isn’t getting ready to do my 3rd csection with my son ! Am feeling a bit nervous but I known god is in control and I am in great hands with this wonderful doctor . Everyone is nice and caring in the office too . Thanks

I left a review about my bad experience with this doctor. It was left up for a day and then taken down, while his positive reviews stayed up. I won't keep writing about my bad experience, but I think it goes without saying that you should beware of a doctor that can't even leave up a review so that his patients can make informed decisions. Thankfully I switched doctors in time because my condition needed immediate treatment.

Dr Frederick is wonderful! He took his time, explained what was going on with my body and made me very at ease! His staff was so accommodating and had a genuine concern! I wish more Dr's was like Dr Frederick, he is definitely the best!

Dr. Frederick and his staff are great. He has been my gynecologist for years and is an excellent doctor. His office staff have always given me a quick appointment and always call me back to answer any of my questions. Dr. Frederick takes time out of his busy schedule to thoroughly explain things. I would highly recommend this doctor.
