Emergency Medicine physician
My wife had pain for two weeks in her Lt upper abdomen, and was very afraid of cancer after the death of a friend from pancreatic cancer. This fear was really hurting her mental health. Dr Fisgus did not dismiss her concerns but ordered the proper test's to rule out all her fears which made a huge difference. Part of being a good physician is allaying one's fears. Thank you Dr Fisgus.

Great followup
We brought my husband in to the ER with dementia related issues. Dr Fisgus was compassionate and had the hospital follow up for hospice care. They called early the following morning and came to our home with a nurse and equipment. So happy. Thank you Dr Fisgus for your kindness!

Would give 0 stars if was able too. My daughter passed away because of his negligence only at 17 years old. Keep yourself and loved ones away from this man

I went to the ER for severe abdominal pain and feared I had an intestinal blockage. I tried to explain my symptoms and past history, He did not listen to a word I said and told me i just had a fever and the pain is just from crohns. I would not waste a pricey ER visit for regular symptoms. He didn't even run the correct tests to check for a blockage. He made me feel like i was just imagining my pain and an idiot and told me to come back in the am if my pain continued. Bc 1 ER bill isn't enough..

I met this physician at San Antonio Regional Hospital on May 13, 2017. I was in extreme pain, throwing up nothing. When I was first seen (over an hour after I got a room.) The first thing this doctor says to me is "you having drug withdrawals? I had a CT scan showing I had severe gallstones. He NEVER said a word about it. He left it out of the discharge report. I get a call two months later with diagnosis. He put on my discharge papers "unspecified abdominal pain. He's totally incompetent
