Dr. James Estes, MD

I have filed a complaint regarding Dr. Estes. I will also be filing several other grievances regarding my appointment today. I want to ensure that he does not deliver my child and that I am never exposed to his care again for future appointments. His way of handling today's appointment was absolutely unacceptable and I would like to ensure my complaint/concerns are taken extremely seriously. I had to walk out of my appointment today due to his methods while he is yelling at me that I am going to be discharged after my pregnancy. Because I flung the door open to leave after telling him multiple times I understood while he continued his rants on my situation. He leaves a lot to be desired as a Dr and I've seen multiple people since being pregnant within your practice and have had no problems even when the news was the best. Dr Estes should be ashamed of himself.

Dr. Estes is the second OBGYN I've ever had and I can't recommend him enough. He is patient, kind, on schedule, and his nursing staff seems to really like him too (which I think is a phenomenal sign). He listened to all my concerns related to recent Breast Cancer News in the family and seemed very familiar with the literature surrounding potential causal factors of developing the disease. He is knowledgeable about a wide array of birth control methods, and really tailored his personal recommendation for my specific wants/concerns/ personal history. Unlike other OBGYNs I never felt like I was being talked AT, we were having a dialogue about pros and cons of each of my options. I highly recommend him, and if I stay in the area long term I hope he can deliver my babies. Thank you Dr. Estes if you read this!

I have been a patient of Dr. Estes for almost 16 years. He is the BEST!! He is caring and understanding. I feel comfortable to talk to him about my concerns. He delivered 2 of my kids. I love Dr. Estes and his professional staff.

He made a serious error in a prescription. I would never recommend this practice.

Dr. Estes was over an hour later to our appointment and insisted that I take test after test as he suspected that I had PCOS causing my infertility. Newsflash! I didn't and I knew I didn't! He delayed my pregnancy journey by 2 years because he didn't want to listen to me. I transferred to another OB/GYN and he sent me to the fertility clinic after my first visit. I would never recommend Dr. Estes to anyone.
