Dr. James Elmore, MD

Our son was born in a birth center so we had to find an external urologist to handle the circumcision. We saw Dr. Elmore the first time and had a good visit. He said it looked like our son had slight hypospadias and a hernia which was causing swelling. We waited a little longer to come back for a follow up to see if the swelling had gone down. He then recommended full blown surgery to fix a hernia that was NOT confirmed and then to perform the circumcision and correct hypospadias. We weren't comfortable with that diagnosis when a hernia wasn't confirmed apart from him looking at it and DEFINITELY weren't comfortable putting our 6 month old under anesthesia. The second visit, the doctor acted like he had never met us before and went straight into talking about surgery and then rushed out. I would not recommend him.

Dr Elmore was wonderful, he listened to us and explained everything without rushing. He was very sweet and patient with my daughter. I would highly recommend him as a pediatric urologist.

The experienced was very refreshing to have a down to earth one on one doctor. Dr. Elmore acted as if he had known as for a long time. We really appreciated his concerns and professionalism he took with our kids.

Dr. Elmore was excellent. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, and patient. He was willing to take as much time with us as needed and explain the condition that our infant son had. He gave us advice, but we did not feel pushed to make a decision that we did not want to make. He explained everything in a way that we could understand and also told us the risk that were involved. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Loved Dr Elmore! He was great with my baby and explained everything in detail! All of the staff was very friendly and we had a wonderful experience at the hospital where he performs his surgeries! I couldn't have asked for a better Doctor!

I would recommend Dr.Elmore because every experience was positive, even though the situation is tough to deal with. He is very sincere in his actions and the way he speaks to us as parents. It's really refreshing.

Dr. Elmore has taken care of my son since the day he was born (my son is 4 yrs old now). He has preformed numerous surgeries and tests on my son and we are completely satisfied with the care and attention he has given us. Dr. Elmore is extremely thorough and cares so much for his patients. He's compassionate and had always explained things in a way for my husband and I to understand exactly what was going on with our child. I highly trust and recommend Dr. Elmore

Has extremely worried about my son and his health but after talking ti Dr. Elmore, he helped me to understand what was happening and really put my mind at ease. I felt like if someone came to me and asked me about the same situation, I could easily describe to them what was going on and sound like a professional while doing it. He and his staff were extremely pleasant to deal with.

Dr. Elmore took care of my 5 month old son. He was even smaller when he had his first visit. Dr. Elmore was very patient, attentive with my son and explained me in detail my son's condition and what needs to be done for him and the outcome. I could not ask for a better doctor.
