Dr. Downey is the BEST pediatrician my girls have ever had. I’m sad to see he is leaving St Vincent’s but will 100% be switching my kids to whichever practice he transfers to.

I highly regard Dr. Downey’s unwavering support and dedication to my children’s mental and physical health. He has never been dismissive or overly rushed when treating them. He takes the time and makes sure he can see us if there is an emergency and it’s during hours. I have dealt with a lot of different military doctors and am grateful for Dr. Downey. I wish I could find a provider that was as good as he is.

I've never had the pleasure of my child receiving care from Dr. Downey, but I am a pharmacy technician across the street from his practice and I have never once heard a patient say anything but amazing things about him.

Dr. Downey was extremely judgmental and stated my child had Autism after meeting him 2 times for a total of 30 minutes. (My child was 1 1/2 years old at the time.)I would not recommend this Dr to anyone and hope no one else has to go through all of the trouble I did with this Dr.

Overall, we were satisfied with the care our child received and the front desk staff are awesome. However, this office is NOT vaccine choice friendly and we were told either vaccinate our child on schedule or we will be discharged from the practice and they will no longer tend to our child's needs. If it wasn't for them not allowing us time to make an educated decision one way or the other, we would continue going there.
