Dr. James Douglas, MD

He is an excellent physician. He takes time to understand and provides the correct diagnosis every time. I am thankful to have him as my doctor.

I have been with Dr Douglas for 20 years. He is amazing. A couple of the doctors in this practice have left and Dr Douglas took on WAY to many patients. It now takes about 10 weeks for me to even get an appointment with him. Very disappointing and frustrating that I now have to consider looking for a new family physician.

With every visit Dr. Douglas consistently invests the highest level of attention, energy and information.

I was in need of a family physician and Dr Douglas was recommended by a friend. Best choice ever he is the best. I love that he takes time to sit and discuss things and is not rushed to get out of the room. He takes great care of me and highly recommend him. Girls in office are friendly and helpful.

My previous primary care doctor retired in March. Dr Douglas was recommended by a couple of friends. During my first visit, I immediately realized why they recommended him! Despite having to wear a mask, he is very friendly and welcoming to a new patient, as were all the staff that I saw. He spent several minutes getting acquainted and catching up on my medical history. He asked appropriate questions and encouraged me to ask questions of him! We had good open discussion that put me at ease. It didn’t take long to realize that he is a caring individual and that I had made the right choice of doctor! I look forward to a long and healthy doctor/patient relationship.

Dr. Douglas always is very friendly and personal and ask detailed? About what is going on with your health and any other concerns you may have, and takes the time to explain in layman terms so you understand everything going on with your health.

He was very thorough and does what he says he’s going to do. He takes plenty of time to listen to you.

Dr. Douglas is a very caring doctor. He has always made sure to address all my and my husbands concerns and took care of everyone of them. The very first time I went to see him, I wasn't feeling well at all and I was about to go on vacation. He gave me medications and ran tests. He did great. He impressed me most when he called me on my vacation to ask if I was feeling ok. He said he would have hated me to have a bad vacation being sick. In my books that's a great doctor! I have gotten my daughters husband to go to him as well as my grown son, of course they have become his patients! Thanks Doc, we appreciate you

Dr Douglas is always so upbeat and interested in your well being. He dedicates his whole time with you to you. He explains conditions and medications. It is a team effort to treat and maintain your health.

Dr. Douglas listens carefully to what I have to say which is paramount to staying well. I do recommend him to others frequently.

Mine was just a regular check up. I called when I got to the parking lot. They asked me a series of questions and asked me to wait in my car until they called. In the mean time they prepped the exam room. Dr Douglas was friendly as always. I felt safe. Everyone was wearing a mask, including me, and there was plenty of sanitation gel available.

I really like dr Douglas, very nice, he takes the time to listen to you, caring dr. I moved to the area from out of state and wasn’t sure about dr’s to go to but glad I made the choice on this one.

Dr. Douglas always has time to answer questions and to explain everything where I can understand it. He is always nice and polite. He can diagnosis things when others can't or won't take time to. I would recommend him to everyone.

Dr Douglas is always so patient and explains everything, so that I understand what’s going on. He spends whatever time is needed and very kind and professional! I never feel rushed when I’m talking to him, and he always answers my questions thoroughly. He is a wonderful dr and person. I’m very thankful that he is concerned about me when I’m not feeling well and goes the extra mile to help me stay healthy.

We were looking for a new doctor and I think we have found a winner in Dr Douglas. We live between Scottsville an Glasgow so it's a bit of a drive but worth it. Dr. Douglas is high energy and We got the feeling that he was truly happy to help. He also has a sense of humor and, although that me not seem important to some, it makes going to the doctor less stressful.
