Dr. James Decock, MD

I have been to see Dr Decock several times over the past years. He is always attentive, pays attention to what I say/ask and is very thorough with his findings (even goes as far as drawing out explanations). His staff is friendly and they always call back quickly if I leave a message. Highly recommend him!

I highly recommend Dr. Decock. He was very thorough with my initial exam. He spent over an hour with me reviewing each area of my health concerns and explaining important decisions and options I had. After the initial visit he called me back because he had found unaddressed items in my past test results that he recommended we address. He and his team were very responsive to ongoing questions and requests. He is highly competent, responsive with an exceptional assistant and administrator.

You can get in very quickly for appointment; but is very slow to renew prescriptions. He requests too many blood tests every 2-3 months on a regular prescription that you have taken for years. He has excellent manners; but too difficult - tends not to listen, but jumps into conclusion. Don't have confidence in him. Seems he's trying to milk the system.

Just saw Dr. Decock for the first time and he was a very thorough and intelligent doctor, not to mention the staff was very nice and friendly. I've had some bad doctors in my life time and happy he knows he what he's doing and not arrogant about it. I will see this doctor for as long as I can!

Not willing to work with my pain management team at Sanford hospital to keep my medications refilled between visits. Only go to him if you are a easy Not complicated patient.

I recently saw Dr. Decock as a first time patient for an annual check-up and was very impressed with his professionalism. He took the time to sit and listen to medical questions and provide valuable insight/knowledge. The staff's customer service was excellent. The facility was state of the art and easily accessible. Dr DeCock restored my faith in the healthcare system. He doesn't treat patients but rather people. He is caring, clear and has an amazing commitment to his patients. I'll never forget how wonderfully he treated my mother when she was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. He continued to check on her when she was accepted into hospice which was comforting. She trusted him and he took that trust to heart. He even called after she passed to let me know she was a great lady. Amazing.
