I highly recommend Dr. Davies
Dr. Davies is one of the top cardiac surgeons in the US. He has a wonderful team to assist and coordinate care, and we also received exceptional care in CICU and step down. These medical professionals seem to really be the best and are very caring. My husband was always cared for. The doc is extremely focused, so don’t expect a lot of conversation, just know he gets the job done. We are very grateful for the care received at UAB.

My husband recently had his Second Quadruple ByPass. Davies and his staff are beyond excellent in knowledge, skill, patient care, family care, They do so many of the same procedures you think they would become calloused to where the patient is coming from, but they are professional and personally caring for each patient and their family. My husband had a much better outcome compared with his first surgery 20 years ago. We feel blessed to have been under Dr. Davies care.

I can't say enough about Dr Davies and his people. I had triple bypass done and was really treated well. Dr Davies met with me prior and explained what was going to happen and and was very thoughtful and took the time to explain the procedure to me. Aftercare was great I was never let to be in any pain. I was up walking in no time and went home a day a day early.

Dr Davies is a loving caring surgeon. I feel he puts his heart and soul in every decision he makes. He made sure my patient care was excellent.

I was referred to Dr. Davies by Dr. Paul Moore.Dr. Davies was experienced with the surgery I needed (ASD). Surgery was great success, very little pain and was home in five days.I would refer anyone to Dr. James Davies.

Replaces my Aortic valve March 2015. Have recovered fully. Doctors and staff very professional but easy to talk to as well. I highly recommend this man and his team.
