Caused me to need inpatient treatment
I saw Dr. Daly from 14-16. I am now 20 and still face the harm his treatment caused me. He did not listen to me while I described textbook manic episodes to him, and instead prescribed me fluoxotine the first appointment. This was also before bloodwork. I had the most severe manic episode of my life, attempted and got hospitalized at 14. He continued to try other antidepressants, without a mood stabilizer or antipsychotic. Every psychiatrist I've had since has been shocked by this. I had two more hospitalizations before being switched to another psychiatrist, who told me the way I was treated was terrible. He would ask my mom questions about me in front of me, and act like it was rude of me to answer questions about myself. He flat out said 'let the adults speak' at one point. Also diagnosed me with multiple anxiety disorders (GAD, panic disorder, social anxiety and school anxiety) and I still don't know why, but it affects my treatment since it's in my records. Do not recommend.

Sucks at bed side manner! He wanted me to lose weight. I lost 10 lbs. No encouragement, no anything when he saw me next. He always blames the parents even though I was 16 when I began going to him. His nurse decided to defend his lack of compassion with the horrible excuse of a lack of time with each person. For a person in psychiatry, I would think he would have a more positive vibe and not like your shy emotionless uncle.
