Great Doc, very caring
Dr. Cooper is my Dad's Parkinson's doc and I'm so thankful. Dr. Cooper listens and spends quality care with us each visit, never hurried like other environments.

Terrible Staff!
The staff is absolutely the worst! Rude and unprofessional. I had a difficult time trying to get an appointment. Once I finally was scheduled, the manager called the day of my appointment to cancel. I cannot attest for the Dr himself; but his staff is whom you will mainly be working with and also a first impression of how you will be treated. After so much back and forth trying to get an appointment and being treated poorly, I went to another provider for my migraines.

Dr. Bryan Cooper - most excellent neurologist
Dr. Bryan Cooper's care involves a truly extraordinary combination of training, experience, and compassion for his patients. He listens; he asks questions; he explains in layman's terms what is happening in his patients' bodies and what treatments and medications can do to alleviate their suffering. I consider myself to be quite fortunate to be his patient. The office staff are always friendly, professional and responsive to my needs if I have to call on them. I hold him in the highest regard as a physician and heartily recommend him to anyone needing neurological care. He and his team are a tremendous asset to this area of eastern North Carolina and beyond.

Does not answer the phone, respond to messages, make promised testing appointments, or care how much pain a person is in or for how long. Does not listen to or even do any kind of physical movement capability testing in a patient.

The doctor did not listen to my pain in my ribs, underarm, lay, spine, shoulder blade, collar bone, neck, and head. With pins and needs in the arm, neck, chest, head, and even the tongue & face at times. Said my pec muscle which didn’t hurt was the issue and prescribed a muscle relaxer. Said they would get an MRI scheduled but 2 weeks later they didn’t, won’t return calls at all or answer the phone 75% of the time, lied the one time someone answered and said they were waiting for prior auth. The insurance said there was no prior auth pending or contact from the office. They do not help. They only want people who will repeatedly return for shots to make money, not to solve a real issue.

I don't even know how I would begin to describe how amazing Dr Cooper is. He has been my doctor for many years now and I honestly don't know what I would do without him. He is without a doubt the absolute best and on the reviews you see here are true he has the best staff, the best bedside manner, and just overall a great personality. I love him to pieces

After months of being seen by multiple specialists & having many tests, xrays, etc. Dr. Cooper diagnosed my problem at my first visit! He is compassionate and professional. He has never been rushed at any of my visits & will spend all the time needed with you to answer all your questions. I would recommend him to anyone. He has helped me immensely!

Dr. Cooper and team spent 2 hours with me and treated me like a real patient, not just a number...like most doctors I've seen. His team was thorough, compassionate, extremely knowledgeable, and so easy to talk to. They were all incredibly kind and dedicated to ensuring I would see improvements over time as I manage my symptoms. I count them as a blessing and I would recommend them to anyone. So thankful for these folks!

There are not enough good words in our vocabulary to even begin to use about this group. Their knowledge and compassion far exceed your expectation. What a true blessing they are to those in need of these services. The best!, don't settle for anything less than this group!!!!!

I've heard great feedback on Dr Cooper. He was referred to me by Dr Taha and our Pharmacist as an excellent choice. I would love to bring my son to see him for frequent migraines and abdominal migraines that are interfering with his university classes and work but I see that Humana/ Choice Care is not listed as one of your approved insurances. Any chance this will be added in the near future? Warmly, K B

Dr. Cooper is such an caring and awesome provider. You are not a number with him you're treated like person. Great bedside manners. Also, both NP's in the office are just as awsome. I would recommend his office to anyone?

Don't bother going to this Dr. My wife went to this practice after suffering with chronic migraines for months. After waiting for quite some time, my wife was told that he would not see her because she didn't meet the qualifications and that he couldn't help her. She ask the nurse what the qualifications were and she say she didn't know and hung up the phone. A complete waste of my wife's time.

My referral wasn't even accepted because they can't do anything for pelvic pain! I have severe diagnosed conditions that cause documented chronic pain. I'm so disgusted with this place.

Dr. Cooper spends a great deal of time talking to each patient, so wait time may be a bit longer. But he listens to my concerns, is empathetic, knows his medicine extremely well, & offers several modalities to treat my migraine & tension headaches. He is thorough & has an excellent bedside manner. I am a primary care provider & I always refer my own patients to see him. I have seen Amy twice & liked her as well. I am very pleased with my medical care & as a medical provider I am hard to impress!
