Great Doctor and Surgeon
Dr Conner was my surgeon for a colectomy, and everything went perfect! I could tell from my first meeting with him that he is a very confident surgeon (which is what everyone should want), and he put my mind at ease by assuring me that he was very experienced in this type of surgery, and I had really nothing to worry about. And he was right! I only spent one night in the hospital and the recovery period (about 10 days) was exactly how he said it would be. The mass in my colon was indeed pre-cancerous and I give credit to Dr. Conner for saving my life!

Hole in my colon
Dr Conner preformed a colectomy and things went very wrong. About 5-6 days later I was getting very sick and running a fever, I went to Sutter ER and was admitted, through testing it was discovered that I had a hole in my colon, the hospitalist and Dr Connor said it will close, I was sent home. ....I was back in the hospital 10 days later with a horrific infection. I then had a drain installed and walked around with a bag hanging down my leg. I was referred to an Interventional Radiologist. I did weekly visits with imaging each time. I also had to have the drain reinstalled every 3 months. I called UCDavis and they referred me to UCSF, the 2 doctors there saved my life because the 2 doctors said the blood end had died. Thank you UCSF and your new procedure. 9 Surgeries later in 9 months. I now have IBS-C.

Surgery Did Not Happen
I went to Mercy Dan Juan Hospital to have hemorrhoid surgery. I had an IV connected and ready for my surgery. But, when the nurse was questioning me about the meds, I had taken one that was not allowed before surgery so Dr. Conner would not do my surgery. After 3 1/2 weeks the office has not attempted to reschedule my surgery. I realize it was my fault, but I feel totally abandoned. I have phoned the office 3 different times to reschedule and have been told someone will call me the next day. Nope. No calls. I have no idea what to do??? So I guess I can't really rate Dr. Conner since i have yet to have the surgery. It's very frustrating.

Dr.Conner did my surgery 2 weeks ago, he is the absolutely the best doctor I've ever had. He answered all my questions, he is very humble, he doesn't rush your appointment, everything he said he was going to do, he did. Also his office staff are also amazing. This was a difficult time for me, but it ended up being the easiest with all the help from Dr. Conner and his office. Thank you all.

I am so lucky to have Dr Conner as my surgeon. He is very patient with me and took the time to explain everything that I will be facing even if he needs to repeat himself.I never feel rush when talking to him.He goes above and behold to make sure I recover well.I can't say enough good things about him.He treated me with kindness, understanding, empathy, and he really care about his patients. I would not wish what I am going thru onto anyone but if you are and need a surgeon, I recommend him 100%

Dr. Conner just completed bowel resection surgery on me May 10, 2017 at Mercy San Juan Medical Center. My wife and I found him to be a very confident surgeon, trained with the Da Vinci robot, and could not have asked for a better outcome of my procedure. Dr. Conner answered all of our questions, gave great explanations throughout the process from pre-op to post-op, and by using the robotic technique, cut down considerably on my pain. Very Highly recommend Dr. Conner!
