Visited me for the 1st time in the hospital after 3 previous surgeries with another neurosurgeon. From the moment he walked in the room he was rude, kurt, and absolutely would not let me finish a sentence or explain a thing. Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had with any doctor ever. I have no idea about his surgical skills but with his bedside manner, I would NEVER let him operate on my me. Shame on you doctor for being so rude and making someone who is already scared and in pain feel worse. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone seeking someone who will listen and have compassion. I just wouldnt recommended him at all!!!

Dr Chan has been my hero for the past 30 years. He has successfully operated on me multiple times. He has also helped many in my family. He is kind and cares deeply about his patients. God bless him.

My husband had 1 back & 2 neck surgeries with Dr. Chan. He was easy to talk to, has a great sense of humor, & an excellent surgeon. He took the time to show us the problem and how to resolve it. All surgeries were a great success. After the first surgery, we requested him again when it was necessary. My husbands scars are amazing...not noticeable at all. We never felt rushed with him either. His office receptionist, Julia, is awesome! Would not hesitate to go to him again if needed.

Dr.Chan performed back surgery in 2016 on my 81 year old mom and neck surgery on my Uncle. Both surgeries were successfully done without any complications.Mom walked few hours after surgery without pain and continue to doing very well with her daily routines as well with my uncle Joe. I should say he is the best Neuro surgeon ever. Highly recommended. I work in the hospital he is the best ever! Thank you,Dr.Chsn!

Holy crap! People who wrote negative reviews weren't kidding! I have NEVER met a doctor as condescending, uncaring and rude as Dr. Chan. He has the worst bedside manner EVER and made me feel like my concerns were ridiculous and unwarranted. He totally gave off a vibe that I was wasting his time. I wish they had a zero star option. Please, do yourself a favor and RUN if you're ever referred to this doctor. Horrible experience!!!

Poor bedside manners. Dr chan unsensitive to patients concerns and questions. Answers in a condescending manner . If he only knew I am a healthcare employee and by judging by this rude manners I would not recommend him to any of my patients or friends.

By far, this has been the worst Doctor I have ever dealt with. I walked out crying because I couldn't stand his sarcasm, rude personality, and I felt extremely pressured to answer the questions he was asking without him giving me a sarcastic smirk in return. It seemed as if my condition was not important enough to have been seen by him ( which is not my fault considering my primary Doctor felt under qualified to give me any information about my condition). He lacks people skills and sensitivity.
