I had been having pain in my right knee for years. When I could not walk an aisle in a supermarket without excruciating pain and numbness in my foot, I knew it was time to seek help. After several attempts of treatment an x-ray revealed surgery was the only answer! The minute I met Dr. Capozzi I felt extremely comfortable. He looks you directly in the eye to talk to you. He explains everything from why you are in pain and why the surgery is needed. His bedside manner is warm and professional. Of course, just as most patients, I should have had the replacement done a long time ago. Dr. Capozzi’s team follows you after your surgery and you can reach them anytime. I have complete confidence in Dr. Capozzi to keep me enjoying my grandchildren and dancing!!

I felt very comfortable right away. I liked that he looked at the films with me there and explained what he saw. I've had both hips replaced by him, and I am completely satisfied with the full experience. I highly recommend anyone looking for hip surgery to consult with Dr. Capozzi.

I've been going to Dr. Capozzi and Kathy Pashos, his PA, for over 5 years and have found them to be responsive, caring and most of all, highly competent. Dr. Capozzi performed a total knee replacement on my right knee on September 24, 2018 and everything has been as expected.

Right hip replacement April 2018. I researched and even met with a trusted spine surgeon prior to choosing a hip surgeon. Upon asking who this surgeon would have his mother use, the answer was Dr. Capozzi, at Winthrop. Capozzi and his team were a blessing. Not only fine tuned veterans, compassionate and conservative; they like their job and hospital. Rare find. Prayed with Dr. Capozzi before heading to the operating room. Needless to say, the experience and outcome positive.
