I was his patient many years ago
Eventually I was able to get off the meds and self-discipline myself because of the doctor.

I don’t know what to say except that I am very grateful to Dr. Campbell and his office for always making me feel cared about. I have been going to Dr. Campbell for about 15 years and he is brilliant yet down to earth. He has given me tools I will take away for the rest of my life. I am very sad he is retiring.

I’ve had such a great experience with Dr. Campbell. He helped me pinpoint issues I had been dealing with for as long as I can remember. He provides info in a manner than anyone can understand and I find that so helpful. I’m so glad to be working with him, sad he’ll be retiring soon!

Dr. Campbell was always very cold and short. Despite assuring me during my first visit that he wanted to gradually lower the amount of meds I was taking, he never followed through on that. In fact it was quite the opposite: at most visits I wasn't even asked if I thought the meds were doing their job, how I was feeling, etc. Nothing. Just in and out. I found out a few weeks ago I had to stop taking the anti-depressant, for 8+ years now, due to an interaction with a new drug I have to be taking as a breast cancer survivor. Dr. Campbell told me (via voicemail, mind you) that I could just simply stop taking this medication. That my body wouldn't even notice. What has actually happened? The most intense and brutal mental withdrawals I have ever experienced. DANGEROUS withdrawal symptoms, and increasingly worse and worse. I cannot express deeply enough that I have never felt so uncared for by a mental health professional, and that Dr. Campbell will never have my recommendation.

The worst psychiatrist I have ever seen. I ended up in the mental hospital twice because he overmedicated me.

Dr. Campbell is very knowledgeable about spotting problems regarding children with special needs. He is a walking medical dictionary on medication. If you have a question, you will get an answer right away and he always explains things in terms that I can understand. He is a wonderful doctor. He is very laid back and he along with his wife and the office atmosphere is totally relaxing and cozy. He is brilliant but not snobby which is hard to find in a GOOD doctor! 5?????!!!

This guy is fantastic - if you are just looking for someone to tell you what you want to hear, he is NOT your guy - if you are looking for someone that knows what he's doing and can actually HELP you, without trying to make a car payment off of you, then he is or should be your guy. His wife runs the front desk and is ALWAYS pleasant and willing to pass the time with you. I've been to several doctors and won't change until he retires - i don't care if my insurance covers him or not.

This "psychiatrist" is absolutely awful and should not be in practice; he is arrogant, doesn't care about listening to what the patient has to say. He will interrupt his patients when they are trying to describe the state and experience of their mental illness and apply a terrible, unscientific philosophy as "advise" to everything. He will blame his patients for developing manipulative behavior instead of helping them, like he's supposed to, and cause further harm. Don't even consider this Dr.

Truly awful experience. Dr. Campbell practices with a philosophy that patients bring their conditions on themselves by placing blame on others for their situation. He believes that with a simple mentality readjustment, all issues can be resolved. He tried to take me off a life-saving medication after my second (and last) visit, believing that I would be able to restructure 10+ years of negative thinking on my own, and effectively enough to get off the drug. His method is reckless and dangerous.
