Great doctor...then left practice.
I must say Dr. Ruszkowski was always nice to my Mother up to her death on 11/3/2021. She was always nice to me too. I think she was quite a smart doctor. I wish she had stayed. The only issue I had with her and the office was refilling prescriptions. It got to being like pulling teeth to get them filled. I don't know if it was her or the people in the office. I can't lay blame cause I don't know. That's why I took one star off. Another thing her predecessor used to do was visit us in the hospital when we were there and would kind of do a checkup with Mom or me while we were there. That never happened. I was surprised. I'd like to wish her all the best in her future endeavors!!!!!

One of the best
Dr Ruszkowsky is a great primary care provider. I am/ was a RN certified in OR, CCU as well as a visiting nurse in The Bronx , I also have an MBA. I first went to Dr Ruskowsky in 2018 after moving to CT from NY. She has been my primary cariver ever since. She is always available via email on the Patient Portal, telephone call or vidro conference. If She is out of the office, the coverage from the group is excellent. Together we plan my care, at 83 years old it is important she listens, and gives excellent advice with all my concerns addressed. I an lucky She is my primary care provider.

I am extremely concerned about this Dr. She fails to diagnose properly and fails to catch cancer in its late stage. Death is the sad outcome. Please be aware of the warning signs of cancer and contact another doctor. Why is there no genetic screening for cancer?

Dr Jaime Ruscowski works at internal medical Assoc on the post Road in Norwalk CT. I just had an incredible experiences with her where she Immediately diagnosed a problem with my gallbladder, sent me to the ER at Norwalk Hospital Where I had it removed. If it hadn’t been for her quick and sensitive understanding of the situation, It would have been a full on emergency without the promise of great results. Dr. Ruscowski has a warm and genuine bedside manner, and embodies a sense of calm. She and her nurse are wonderful team and truly give 110% to her patients. I feel truly blessed to have her as my doctor! I can honestly say this is not the first time I have left her office feeling confident and secure in her understanding of my healthcare needs.

Dr. not concerned....only interested in billable hours. I called the office to find out if I needed blood work for my appointment I was told that I did not. When I showed up for the appointment the Dr. seemed surprised that I had not done the blood work she ordered. When I told her that I contacted the office and was told that I did not need it, her response, "it is the answer that the office always gives" and laughed about it. Wanted blood work and to make another appointment. I work days.....

I've had many problems reaching Dr. Ruszkowski. I needed to schedule a sick visit, she would not get on the phone with me. I was scheduled for 2 days later, and the night before, my appointment was canceled because she could not make it in the next day. This has happened twice. The other doctors in the practice are marvelous, they will get on the phone with you if you have any questions - she will demand that you schedule an office visit. Patient care is not the priority - billable hours are.

Dr. Ruszkowski took over for my previous long time internist who retired. Although I was tentative at first I have now been with Dr. Ruszkowski a few years and am very comfortable with her. She is very thorough and takes a lot of time with me during my appointments fully explaining any questions I may have. She checks previous records and orders appropriate tests if needed.
