Dr. Jaime Novais, MD

Locum Dr. Novais took time to understand my overall medical condition and treated the current problem efficiently and well. He is an excellent primary care doctor.

Dr. Novais is not my PCP but was able to see me for an acute condition the same day I called the office to schedule an appointment. He was attentive, kind, respectful, and knowledgeable about my condition. The staff was courteous on the phone and in the office and got me in the same day. Always get great care at West Seattle Internal Medicine, couldn't be happier with their patient care.

Dr. Novais was just "filling in" on the day I saw him, but he was very knowledgeable and professional. He read my background notes, and when he listened to my heart, he expressed concern about how high my heart rate was. We discussed this, I told him I had no other symptoms, but he suggested I double one of my heart meds. He said I should go to the ER if it continued the next morning. He called me at home the next morning, and when I told him my heart rate was still up, he told me to go to the ER immediately, which I did. I don't think I've ever had a doctor (not a not a nurse or MA ) call me the next day.

Extremely impressed with the quality of care I received from Dr. Jaime Novais. Wish he was a full time physician at Swedish. He had never before treated me and I was experiencing some very serious issues. He took enough time with me to check and recheck blood pressure and heart rate and ask questions. He then changed my meds which has helped considerably. He was thorough, thoughtful and precise.

I was impressed by the provider who treated me and staff at my recent appt. While I was able to get an appt., the appt was changed at the last minute, both in the way of time and provider. A lot of effort was expended by staff to reach me about the changes--and they were successful! I was especially grateful for the provider's nurse assistant who not only helped greatly with the schedule change, but also in reaching me about the change. She was absolutely excellent! Alll ended very well, and the appt. Went smoothly. I'd say you have a very good team at West Seattle Internal Medicine! Thank you!!

My regular doctor retired. I have seen three different doctors since then. They have all been extremely competent and easy to work with.

I was very grateful to Jaime that he was able to see us, ordered appropriate testing, discovered my UTI snd prescribed the correct medication to address the UTI such that I could attend the class in Opera in NYC I had been awarded and am here attending now. Without his help I might have been too sick to actually fly here snd enjoy this terrific experience. Thank you.

Well done

Broke my toe and provider got me in same day, had an X-ray done and referred to podiatrist who I also say same day. I wasn't sure what to do at first or where to go buy so glad I chose to come to my regular provider's office. I am very impressed.
