Dr. Gateno was very concise and indicated very precisely what was needed. He had a calming nature that helped and even made a little joke. Made the first visit very good.

I was supposed to undergo a facial surgery with Dr. Gateno as part of my orthodontic work. Dr. Gateno repeatedly scheduled appointments for me to go into his office claiming that I would be ready for surgery 'within a month.' However, each time he made me wait for 2 hours and pay hundreds of dollars only to have him come into the room, look at my mouth for 2 seconds, and claim that I would be ready 'within a month' again, then schedule me for the next month. After four months of this con job, I finally found a different surgeon who did the process for me.

Dr. Gateno is one of the best and most expert doctor in his field. He not only performs surgeries, but trains and mentor new doctors on this field. He performed a delicate surgery on my son. The result even till this date are exceptionally amassing. If you are looking for a good surgeon Dr. Gateno would be one of the best surgeons in Houston. He has a very friendly and professional staff that would help you.

This guy is a crook. I went for a new patient appointment. I was looking to become an established patient. He then bills me for a consultation instead of a new patient visit and I get billed for $266! All he did was look at me from a distance and act like he was the best doctor ever. He wouldn't even let me speak. Arrogant man! All he did was refer me out to another doctor. I should have only had to pay for a small co-pay. His office refused to help. Don't waste your time or money!

Waited 1hr and 45 minutes in waiting room before nurse place me in patient room for another 15 minutes and Dr. never showed up; walked out of there after 2 hours very frustrated! No one should have to wait 2 hours to see a physician. No one bothered to keep me posted on the delay, and I was the only patient in waiting room!!

Dr. Gateno has absolutely terrible staff but he's good doctor. Sadly, the staff can make or break your practice and they are very close to breaking it. I have never dealt with such incompetent employees before.

Extremely good. This gentleman is an artist. He operated my upper jaw. Big operation, moved the whole jaw forward. Never have had a problem, sinusitis, of any side effect.
