Dr. Imani managed to make offensive, ableist comments to me regarding a disability I have within the first 10 minutes. Did not listen to my concerns, spent 30 minutes of my appointment talking about other cases he's seen with different kinds of symptoms than mine, to the point that it was completely irrelevant, and refused to allow me to redirect back to the issues I'm actually having, usually with rude, snarky remarks before continuing his rant. All my concerns were dismissed because he's seen worse. He claimed to have ordered an MRI and EEG for me but it's been 2.5 weeks and I've not heard anything and he didn't even tell me WHERE the order was sent to. His knowledge of seizures seems to start and end at tonic clonic seizures- and seemed to be outdated on that as well. Would have given 0 stars if it had let me. Complete waste of money so now I'm more broke and my brain is still malfunctioning without answers.

Unprofessional who doesn’t care
Don’t go here. He and his staff are extremely hard to get in contact with, and even when you reach them expect terrible service. In my opinion this man shouldn’t even practice medicine. He’s been know to call his patients inappropriate names and dose them at dangerous levels. Don’t waste a co-pay on someone you love towards a doctor who doesn’t care.

Overall condescending and unwilling to listen. He barely let me speak at all and disregarded everything I had to say about my health concerns. He just sort of rambled at me and ignored everything I said. I was so discouraged by my experience after waiting so long for my appointment that I actually cried afterwards. After waiting more than a month, my appointment was maybe 10 minutes with no actual medical advice being given. I am looking for another neurologist and consider my appointment a complete waste of money and time.

Dr. Imani saw my Mother for chronic back pain. He felt she needed surgery. Wanted an mri, and to consult with her Neurologist. In the first visit he advised my elderly pre-diabetic mother to "Just not eat" "If you're hungry, you're losing weight.". She went from being on no opiods to being on high doses of them for 2 months. After 2 months they called to arrange an appointment to see her neurologist a month out. Decided not to refill her meds. Had we been made aware they were going to do this we would ween her off them. I spent 2 hours on the phone with his office trying to understand what was going on. They did not know. In the end he decided despite having been on opiods for 2 months (addiction takes 7 days). She would be fine and they don't think she'll experience withdrawl or die... when I initially saw the reviews on Dr. Imani I thought well it must come with the territory. I now know his office and he are wantonly negligent with their patients health/safety.

Mirinda, Dr. Imani, and Tara are amazing. My problem is with imanis "nurse" she is not licensed. Believe me I called the state for her mistreatment against my mother and myself. Because of her all my appointments were cut off. I'm on pain management I cannot be cut off like that. She refused to let me speak with Dr imani. Canceling every apt I scheduled. Myself and my mother have a pseudotumor and need surgery. She refused to help me find someone for surgery. The surgery he wanted don't immediately. That was in February after my spinal tap!!! Still no surgery and it's almost July!!! (BTW I can go blind any day because of the pressure). She said it was my responsibility not hers. I would like to file a complaint but having a hard time finding out who I'm am actually supposed to talk to. I've been in contact with many agencies. Oddly everyone is having trouble finding his nurse. No one will let me speak with imani or mirinda. Someone please contact me.

Dr Imani is a very experienced and caring doctor. He is good with explaining the nature of the illness and possible treatments. The doctor is very good in listening to you describe the symptoms. Dr Imani is the best neurologist in the Ogden area, we went through two others before stopping here. Some times it is difficult to get an appointment and the clinic is only open Monday through Thursdays.

Haven't even been given a appointment yet, and I'm not impressed with the staff at all! After sitting on hold, finally spoke with someone, I explained I needed to make a appointment, she said let me switch over to that screen and puts me on hold for 5 more minutes, just to have a different lady pick up and ask me what I want! If this is any indication of how that office is ran, I don't know if I want them dealing with my health issues!

I've been seeing Dr. Imani for @ 4 years. My 1st app. I was in extreme pain, he took his lunch time to personally call doctors to get me in immediately for an injection. He is a wonderful listener. Repeating for clarification records records information straight to your records. Dr. Imani worked with me for @ 2 years to contol my pain and diagnosomg the cause of it & my progressive neuropathy. When he hit a dead end he referred me to more specialized Doctors. Who were impressed with him.

I had to go to see him for a strange nerve malfunction. I saw his PA, and was supposed to speak with him too, but he wouldn't even come into the the office to evaluate my condition himself. Instead he told the PA to prescribe me an anti-psychotic, it had many health risks and interactions, and wasn't known to treat nerve conditions in any studies. I talked to my pharmacist, he was very skeptical about taking this medication, so I cancelled the prescription. I'm not sure he knew what he was doing
