Tummala lied about my prescription he promised(6 months which he then claimed he never said later even tho he said it to me every morning for 4 or more days) leaving me without medicine for dangerous bloodclots. He was impossible to get ahold of I never got ahold of him 8 days in the hospital or for weeks by phone at home. He also loves to cut off your meds or water without warning especially right before bed so you are left without sleep or basic necessities at night(basically made me the driest I have ever been in my life no water). He will do the minimum he has to to get his paycheck which will make it seem like hes a good doctor. Avoid at all costs; hes extremely subversive and will leave you high and dry.

Dr Tummala provided excellent care for my husband who suffered a sudden onset of chest pain while we were passing through Houston on vacation. Dr Tummala treated a complicated array of problems (atrial fibrillation, end-stage renal disease, and pleural effusion) as the hospitalist in charge.Over the course of a week in the hospital, we found Dr Tummala to be caring, considerate, knowledgeable, thorough, efficient, and compassionate. Good bedside manner. Would definitely recommend to others.
