Great experience!
I have been seeing Dr. Brewer for over a year now and have had a procedure done by her. Very professional, LISTENS!, knows me, personable, and takes her time. I never wait and her staff is always friendly and efficient.

Polyp removal and repair of deviated septum
Thanks to Dr Brewer I can breathe and feel like a new person. She seems very competent and is very efficient. I did not give her a 5 star review because she needs to improve her bed side manners. At all my visits (always on time) she never explained what she was going to do to my nose and went ahead with no warnings. A little explanation before any procedures would be helpful. I would recommend her but would make sure you ask what procedures she is going to do before doing them.

DO NOT SEE THIS DOCTOR
Dr. Brewer scoped me as the result of a persistent cough and swallowing issues. She refused to use the numbing spray (which all of her colleagues use), and proceeded with a painful procedure. At the end, she told me that she saw "crusted phlegm" and that there was nothing she could do and sent me off. Needless to say, 3 months later I have stage 4 cancer. She does not know what she is doing.

Awful doctor. Never ever see her. She completely dismissed any and all other treatment options 6 different specialists gave me. I told her I needed fluids and she told me to deal with it. I can’t eat or drink atm. Also told me they the pain in my face that is causing me not to eat will never go away. Gave wrong diagnosis, interrupted, and when she left. I had my first ever full force anxiety attack. I almost passed out from it. She shouldn’t be practicing.

In 2019 I saw Dr. Brewer for extreme vertigo. She laid me back I got so dizzy I screamed and cried and grabbed her arm. She yelled at me and told me to let go of her. She made me cry. I sat there and sobbed hysterically and apologized. I was traumatized. Not one ounce of empathy or sympathy. I actually did not want to ever go back but was desperate with a sinus infection in 2021, and she was the only doctor I could get into quickly. I went and she seemed nicer. Maybe she got enough reviews about lack of empathy that she is working on it. If I had not been desperate and returned, this would have been 1 star. But I'm making it 3 stars because maybe she is improving. I think she could be a good doctor if she continued to work on bedside manner.

I had an appointment with Dr. Brewer because my ears were ringing. I had a thorough hearing test with a technician and waited to speak to the doctor about the results. She indicated I needed an MRI to rule out anything that couldn't be seen and gave me a quick overview of my hearing test results. She was distracted and disinterested playing with her hair the entire time (which was brief). I scheduled the test for as soon as possible, going to Stamford Hospital on a Sunday. They indicated the doctor would have the results in 1-2 days and to wait for her to call. On Thursday I called the office and was told she is on vacation and 'would get to all messages'. Dr. Brewer called on Friday with the results, which were clear (good news) and gave me a couple of suggestions to help the ringing that I found online a week prior. Never again will I use this doctor or this group.

This doctor was very unkind. Terrible bedside manner. Was referred to this practice after having a lot of pain in my ear for months. The examination was painful when the doctor blew air in my ear, which the doctor wasn’t concerned about and minimized. Lots of testing done just to be advised to rinse my throat with salt and warm water. If that would of fixed my problem then I wouldn’t need to see a “expert”. Still in pain to this day, with no help. Very disappointed with my experience here.

Terrible experience. There was not an ounce of empathy in her. Did not explain all options of procedure that I was planning on doing. Currently worse off than I was when I saw her. Do not see her. Wish I read these reviews before hand. My problem has gotten worse and no resolutions by her practice.

Dr. Brewer operated on me, my daughter and my son. All operations were successful. I noticed below that someone felt they were taken advantage of because they sought CPAP treatment and were billed something in excess of what they expected when they found that Dr. Brewer's practice limited to sinus problems. I had an instance where I felt I was overcharged for an appointment and after contacting Dr. Brewer by mail, she adjusted the charge to my satisfaction.

I just had an appointment with her and she was VERY rude and cruel. Before incerting a camara in my nouse I got nervous, she intimidated me and did not give a minute to be prepared for the procedure. She did not let me talk at all and said she did not have time for dealing with my anxiety. This doctor does not know how to work with people and does not have manners, she is not compationed or caring. She does not care about people but her check. Find another doctor. She is the worst.

Surprisingly negative experience! An apparent miscomm. w/the appt setter = I wasted 90 mins to learn that Dr B. doesn't do CPAP medicine; only surgery. For her effort telling me that, I was billed for a full office visit. Called to fix what I assumed was a mistake but Dr. B. chose to let her $$ interests win over her what's right side. Not a Hippocratic Oath violation, just of the Golden Rule. My advice: see her but watch your wallet while she exercises her apparently prodigious medical skills.
