Most helpful and informative OB
Dr. Zimmerman and her staff are truly amazing. From the moment I first started seeing her over 4 years ago, I knew I was in good hands. She has now delivered our 2 children, both via scheduled c-sections (breech babies), and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. She was kind, and compassionate, and went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable and informed throughout my pregnancy and delivery- especially since it wasn't the way I thought I would be delivering. When it came time for surgery, I was nervous, but Dr. Zimmerman was so supportive and reassuring making me feel at ease. She was there every step of the way, explaining what was happening and making sure I was doing well. After the delivery, she visited us in our hospital room and kept tabs on my recovery. I felt completely taken care of by her and thankful for her expertise, I would recommend her to anyone looking for an exceptional OB-GYN.

do not recommend
Dr. Zimmerman completely ruined my birth experience and treated me horribly while I was at the hospital and at my postpartum appointment. I really liked her during my prenatal appointments, but she left out crucial information when explaining the induction process, and it directly led to an unwanted c-section. I do not recommend her at all.

She is the best doctor I’ve ever had. She spent so much time with me and was so understanding. She was also my biggest cheerleader for having a VBAC. Loved her and will always go to her as long as we’re both in Abilene.

AMAZING doctor who really cares her patients. I moved to a new town recently while pregnant so I was not excited about having to find a new doc. I went in for my first visit with Dr.Zimmerman and was completely impressed, before we left that appointment she asked if she could pray with us and over our precious baby girl! She is extremely knowledgeable , explains things very well, listens to your concerns and does everything she can to help you. She did an amazing job throughout my pregnancy and delivery. Thank you Dr.Zimmerman for your outstanding care!!
