Dr. Jacqueline Young Cooper, MD

I have been seeing Dr. Young for a just over a year. I have had a biopsy and two procedures in that time. So, I have spent some time with Dr. Young. She is one of my two most trusted physicians, I have ever had. Physician is her second career in life. I appreciate her approach, demeanor, bed side manor, and willingness to connect with her patients. She takes time to have conversations. On a personal level, she encouraged me as a woman and was very supportive. I have known since I was 21 that I didn't want children. Other medical professionals had treated me much differently and I felt like I wasn't in control of my medical decision making. Dr. Young did her due diligence to ask me the right questions to be sure I was definite in my choices. Then she respected my plan for care and educated me fully along the way. She explains things very simply, slowly, and clearly. She has a calmness about her that is soothing and comforting. I can keep going. I can't recommend her enough.
