Dr. Jacqueline Meyer, MD

Very disappointed at a recent well visit. I had absolutely no complaints, and went in for a regular visit just as a yearly formality. Dr. met for like 8-10 mins, she glanced at my reports and  told to take an over the counter vitamin with a small dosage. But then she suddenly decided to write a prescription for a vitamin regular dose tablet, saying i can get it over the counter, but if she writes a prescription, the pharmacy will readily give it to me and I don't have to go looking around shelves. I agreed to take the prescription not being aware I will pay a bigger price than just the medicine cost. A month or so later, to my surprise, I was sent a big bill for a well visit, as Dr. office submitted medical codes for running some treatment plan, which was explained bu the billing review dept for the prescription for a regular dose vitamin tablet, which I could have got over the counter also. I called the doctors office several times to talk to Dr but never once received a call back.

Dr. Meyer recognized that I needed a cardiologist to determine why I was having unexplained feelings in my chest. That referral wound up saving my life, as it turned out I had 4 serious blockages in my arteries requiring open heart surgery. Thank you, Dr. Meyer, for your referral! (I've been going to Dr. Meyer for many years. Great doctor!!!)
