Horrible Service
I was referred to Dr. Lau by my primary physician. I made an appointment with his practice to see him SPECIFICALLY over 3 months ago. The office called me yesterday to confirm my appointment. I arrived this morning to be told not only is he NOT THERE but he isn't taking new patients. They had LIED and scheduled me with another doctor in the practice that I was not referred to. Horrible customer service. Dishonest and unprofessional

In his examination he didn't see a cancerous growth on my nose. When I called it to his attention he recommended radiation treatments. He recommended a local Ventura physician to do the radiation treatments. When I told his staff I was going to seek a 2nd opinion and needed to send the pathology report to another physician they were very rude and put me through all kind of hoops to get the report.

For at least four years, I had skin cancer that hurt to touch. My Dermatologist only froze the spot with liquid nitrogen. Then, lucky me, he retired and I found Dr. Lau who encouraged me to use a rub on cancer treatment for a couple of weeks. The cancer disappeared and I highly recommend Dr. Lau!

I utilized Dr. Lau's services for three years until I moved out of state. After seeing several dermatologists in the area, he was the first to help resolve my Alopecia issues, my extensive skin dermatitis, and my toe fungus. I never had to wait more than five minutes from my appointment time to be seen, the entire staff was friendly and professional, and Dr. Lau not only resolved all of my skin issues but he also helped relieve my stress and anxiety by thoroughly explaining all of my medical conditions to my satisfaction, then resolving them. He is hands down the best dermatologist I have ever seen, and I've seen quite a few.

My primary care physician recommended I see Dr. Lau regarding a horrible rash on my face that wouldn't go away and no one else could diagnose. Dr. Lau is very thorough and had me get another blood test to rule out something. He then sent me to another doctor based on the results of the blood test, just to be sure. Turns out it was a false positive. Then Dr. Lau prescribed some ointment and my rash disappeared in three days and has not come back. Dr. Lau and his staff are all wonderful.

Dr. Lau was kind, compassionate, and the only doctor willing to research a non-steroidal solution for my dyshidrotic eczema as I'm allergic to an additive in steroids, believe it or not. While my skin will likely never be normal, I now have full use of my hands and feet, and I can thank Dr. Lau for that. The only problem is that it takes a while to get an appointment.

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Lau?
While being seen by Dr. Lau for years, I developed a skin growth that was discounted by him as benign. Dr. Lau told me ?it?s too slow growing to be cancer so don?t worry.? Eventually I was advised by another doctor to have the growth removed ASAP because it looked very suspicious. The growth was cancerous and because it grew for so long, it required significant radiation in addition to surgery. The radiation has caused me many health problems all because of Dr. Lau?s wrong diagnosis.
