First off, when you first see this guy, he will tell you how great he is, how he does more total shoulders than anyone else in the country—honestly, that’s what he said. First he told me bone growth was compressing the nerves, then he waited 4 weeks and told me he was going to a conference and he would ask his colleagues their opinions. When he returned, he told me the consensus was that the shoulder implant was infected. Referred me to a physician who could not find any pockets of puss, and what he could get cultured out NEGATIVE. No infection. Deister told me he would call me. Since then, he has not called, His team told me the chart was on his desk. A month later they called me to tell me he “hadn’t forgotten me.” Two months now and I have still heard nothing. He shined me off. First, two missed diagnosis, then I guess he just thought I’d go away. I did go away, I fired him. See him at your own risk.
