Dr. Jacob Brown, MD

He is absolutely the BEST doctor in the world. He is definitely caring,respectful and gentle. He is exactly what you need in an OBGYN. He's not a doctor that's going give you what you ask for or what you desire. He will give you what you NEED and if that doesn't help,he will go from there. He knows his stuff!! He's wonderful. I recommend him over ANY OBGYN in the world honestly. If there are any bad reviews about him, it's because he didn't bond well or couldn't satisfy that particular patient. I went to him at 24 for my first ever gynecologist visit,and was terrified. He quickly calmed me down and was very soft spoken and understanding. So,5 years later he delivered my baby girl. He made sure he was the on call doctor for me and everything. I had to wait a month to get to see him because he has so many patients and emergencies at the hospital often, but I promise his medical care is beyond worth the wait. If this doctor moved his practice to Mars,I'd rent a spaceship to go see him!

I went to Dr. Brown to establish care in February 2019. I had the worst experience of any doctor I have ever visited. It took two hours to ever be seen by him. Then, when seen, he blamed the long wait on it being the afternoon. That day, I got blood drawn by the worst phlebotomist ever. She missed my vein TWICE, which has never happened to me in the history of going to the doctor. No one has ever missed, and rather than getting somebody else, she attempted a third time, until I protested. Despite my displeasure, I went back for a followup appointment to seen Dr.Brown and get images. This time, he was still not welcoming or considerate and very matter of fact. I was rushed out of the imaging room. Further, I needed to have blood redrawn, as it was somehow lost on my first visit, leading to labs, which had been paid for, not being run. I would not recommend him or anyone else in the office, because they share the same phlebotomist and imaging staff.

I saw Dr. Brown in emergency room. I was 20 weeks pregnant with twins (extremely high risk). He examined me and told me I might want to go to my OB in Meridian because there was nothing he could do for me there. The nurse provided me with more information than Dr. Brown. I'm an educated woman and I knew there was medication that could control and/or stop my early contractions. We wasted several hours and I dialated 1 cm that day when I should have just gone straight to my OB in Meridian.
