Dr. Jack Parrino, MD

I have seen Dr. Parrino for a number of years for allergy related issues. He always takes the time to fully explore all the relevant issues related to the visit. Based on the course of treatment recommended by Dr. Parrino, I have suffered no allergy symptoms for the last several years. He also correctly diagnosed by sight a fungal infection near a surgery wound that took my dermatologist three lab tests to correctly diagnose. By then, the medicine prescribed by Dr. Parrino had resolved the problem. Highly recommended!

After Dr Parrino conducted a full assessment and ordered blood tests to evaluate my allergies, I returned for a follow up appointment. He determined I do not have allergies and offered a treatment that has been very effective. Another Allergist in the community never did blood tests and tried to talk me into un-needed allergy shots. Dr. Parrino and the receptionist were the kindest people you can ever meet. their knowledge was "super"... I am so glad that I was a patient at their office. thank you Dr. Parrino.

He has always been determined to understand my conditions and dedicated to improving my health. He has created flexible treatment plans that meet my lifestyle and he’s very cost conscience. I have severe seasonal and food allergies. Dr. Parrino has been my doctor since '05! Since then, even on those heavy pollen years, my symptoms are minimal. I have recommended him to everyone that asks me who I see for my allergies!

One of my most fav Dr. who actually took time to listen to me and sat and explained things and his plan to help me recover. A true Doctor!

Dr. Parrino changed my life for the better. I had suffered from allergies most of my life and during certain times of the year, I was simply miserable. Soon after I moved to Tampa a few years ago, I was referred to Dr. Parrino by one of his patients. Dr. Parrino then spent hours determining what I was allergic to and the best treatment plan for me. He is like a detective and he’s excellent at it. I go every other week now for shots but I am no longer suffering at all which is amazing and I am very happy. I have been seeing Dr. Parrino for over thirty years. He is very thorough and takes an extensive history. He doesn't order needless lab tests. I see him for any upper respiratory infection because they are affected by my allergies. I had food poisoning one time and called his answering service on Saturday morning. He returned my call right away and ordered some medication for me. He really went beyond the call of duty. His staff is always respectful of my time when I go in for allergy shots. They never leave me sitting in the waiting area for very long. He is my favorite doctor!

Timely, patiently answered all of my questions, gave a thorough exam followed by testing and explained all results. Am now following his advise as to treatment.

Unfortunately, I have to have many doctors attending to my many health problems. Of all the doctors that have treated me in New York, Atlanta, and Tampa, Dr.Parrino has to be counted as one of the best doctors I have ever seen. For my most recent health problem, I was exasperated after seeing a half dozen doctors. Dr. Parrino solved my problem which had lingered for 6 months. Not only is the man competent but he is extremely personable. You cannot help but like the man.

Dr. Jack is without question the most patient and thorough doctors I have ever been to. He takes all the time necessary to understand your problem and figure out the best course of action. I had a severe side effect from an antibiotic I was taking, and he helped me determine which other antibiotics I could take without having to worry about allergic reactions. Also, you always leave the office with a complete written summary of your visit, which is very helpful as you forget details over time.

Dr. Parrino is probably the best doctor you'll ever see. He is like a detective when trying to find out what's wrong with you. If you have an ailment, he will do all he can to find out what it is. He is very concerned, caring and I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Parrino is an incredible physician. I went to him due to prolonged, repeated sickness. The first visit he spent over 3 hours with me getting to know me and my medical history. An allergy test was recommended and performed. Since my diagnosis with specific allergies and treatment, I have been feeling better than I have in a very long time. I give thanks to Dr. Parrino for this. The staff is wonderful as well. I highly recommend Dr. Parrino to anyone in search of an allergist/immunologist.

Dr. Parrino is the best. He has been my allergist for many years and has always diagnosed & treated any illness accurately and expeditiously. Recently after seeing my PCP and several other MD's for a respiratory infection which would not resolve Dr.Parrino got it right the first time and I am well and back to work thanks to him. I have been very satisfied with my health care from Dr. Parrino for more than 10 years now. He actually takes the time to learn about my health, regardless of whether my issues relate directly to my allergies. He listens and considers the whole person; not just the allergies. He is extremely well informed about allergy treatments and medications and understands how those work with other prescriptions, too.
