Dr. Jack Hershman, MD

Have been going to Dr. Hershman for over 20 years. He has helped me through many kidney stone events, including during the pandemic. Currently struggling with what I think is a stone, called the office and he fit me in next week. Unfortunately, I now need to help my 83-year-old mother in another state and cannot attend the appointment next week. I called to reschedule and the office person said the next available is September 21! I have no choice but to take this slot and look for a new urologist. I cannot believe it is okay to wait 2 months before I see a doctor if I am in pain. I am not faulting Dr. Hershman but the medical setup we have now...medicine should not be so corporate. These huge corporations are NOT helping the patients by any means. I remember the days when I could get an appointment within days of calling when in an emergency. Off to find a new urologist and/or visit the ER, that is where I feel like I will get the care I need. So unfortunate.

Dr. Jack Hershman is a very caring doctor. When ever my husband or I had a urinary problem he always included both of us in the discussion in his office. Both of us appreciated this because it affected both of us.

Dr. Hershman is a solo practitioner and if he is gone, no one covering for him. He says they are, but then covering doctor unavailable. He doesn’t listen to what the patient’s concerns are and just gives standard answers. I don’t understand why people love him so much. I’ve been with him for 8 years and see a decline in his care. Maybe he’s burned out. Time to retire?

Ten years ago Dr. Hershman saved my life. He diagnosed advanced prostate cancer and treated it expertly with kindness and attention to detail. He is a modest man, apparently oblivious to how is helping humanity and making this world a better place.

I like the doctor but very annoyed , how the office can call me to change my appointment because they closed another office. But when I call back they have nothing available, when I am available. Then the reception acting like she really could careless. Need better receptionist that actually want to be at their jobs. I think I should have been accommodated since the office is the one who canceled my appointment.

I have seen Dr Hershman for 31 years now and my experience has always been excellent and was again now. I would recommend him to anyone.

Dr, Hershman has been my urologist for 20 years, he is the best.

Almost always able to get a same day appointment for emergencies and always calls back the same day when an important message is left. I’ve been a patient over 35 years and have had several surgeries and procedures done always with excellent outcomes

He is an excellent doctor. I feel assured when I leave his office as he goes over everything and answers all my questions. His office is also excellent.

My visit is always a pleasant experience. Doctor Hershman's assistant is gracious with any kind of inquiry. The waiting room has a relaxing aquarium, soft background music and an assortment of unique reading material. Doctor Hershman is outstanding in his field. He is personable and has time for a thorough discussion of the matter. And beyond that he is gentle.

This man saved my fathers life and I am forever in debt to him. My full story is on a google review if your interested. If you want to solve your urological Dr. Hershman is man to see, don't waste or risk your life going to another urologist(Seth Lerner).

A few years ago I connected with Dr. Hershman because of a very painful UTI. I called Dr. Hershman on a Holiday & he returned my call asking me to see him the next day. I was grateful for his concern & helping me. He is a caring & excellent Dr.

I guess the feedback i filled before did not go through, sorry! As soon as I well have results from the tests ordered by Dr Hershman I'll be able to have a better overall view and perhaps more comprehensive .Overall the treatment, so far, gave excellent results.

I was having a degree of discomfort and Dr. Hershman's assistant made sure I could see the doctor that same day. Dr. Hershman, as always, provided excellent care.

I had a great first appointment with Dr. Hershman. He is extremely professional, clearly knows what he is doing, and was quickly able to assess my current medical issues.

Dr. Hershman is an excellent doctor and I totally trust him, It is easy to make an appointment and waiting time is very minimal if at all. The office staff is very nice and accommodating
