Rude, condescending, absolutely no help at all. The worst experience I've ever had seeing a physician.

Dr Cates was wonderful. He was very professional, courteous, and quite confident in all that he was doing. He made me feel very at ease and the entire procedure was over with before I knew it began. I simply wish that my regular medical doctor was as efficient and competent as Dr. Cates. His wonderful nurse Jamie was just as nice and pleasant to talk to. Thanks so much for a wonderful experience.

The first time I went in was for myself & it went well. He was straight & to the point, but no issues. The second was for my 11 year old son with a very small area on his neck. The nurse seemed to diagnose my child, he did not even speak to him & reassure him he would be okay, instead he walks in refused to look at a photo I had of the area, grabbed a needle and said its not the end of the world and it doesn't hurt, you don't want to have kids at school making fun of you do you? NOT OK!

I will be contacting Medicare's QI Department! I'm not going to argue with you and This is not a teaching session he said. Office and staff don't really matter when the doctor, himself, makes the WORST impression! I am an RN and I have NEVER experienced a doctor so RUDE, NEGATIVE, ARGUMENTATIVE, CONDESCENDING.....simply UGLY. Since my appointment (that my teen daughter and I walked out of), I have heard around town that 'he is an ask'. Wish I had known before traveling thru.
