Charging Membership to become a patient???
I just called to switch physicians and to my surprise I hear that you have to pay a membership to become a patient. That is pretty absurd. Never encountered Dr.'s asking for memberships in order to be seen. SMH. To think I am a patient there and thankfully I have not had to be seen in a while and I wanted to bring my daughter over since she was with Riverside Pediatrics where Dr. Baker, Sr. was my daughter's pediatrician and then Dr. Baker, Jr. was hers. Nevertheless, I think Dr.'s should not charge a membership to be seen. We are already paying co-pays.

This is a money grab !
I have been a patient here for a few years now, and I have always appreciated having Dr. Baker as my physician. I loved his communication and honestly. You can imagine my surprise when I called for my annual physical, which is the only reason I ever visit this office, and find out that in order to come see my doctor. I must have a membership where I pay $10 a month. I was never notified of this change and they told me the reason for that is because “they can’t get to everyone” and “ Unless you came to the office a couple months before September, you wouldn’t know.” The front desk person was very passive, and seemed to not care about the frustration of patients who were not notified . Basically I am stuck scrambling looking for a new primary care physician because of their ineffective communication to their patients. It’s just really sad that such a great doctor has become like this. I am an overall healthy person and I’m not in need of a memberships. Very disappointing.

Best doctor ever!
Dr. Baker dares to be different. He’s super knowledgeable and makes it about the patient. Not your typical doctor who barely talks to you. He dares to get to know you and is someone you will trust! I can’t say enough good about him and his practice. Anyone I’ve referred to him have thanked me!

Best doctor ever
Staff is very friendly. Office is very clean and nicely decorated. Dr Baker is amazing. He is very down to earth and makes you feel very comfortable. He takes the time to explain everything in detail and the fact that they offer several different services in the office makes it very convenient to get all your checkups done quickly and conveniently. I highly recommend him. He is now our family doctor.

I went there on a recommendation from my Boss to get tested for COVID. The lady in the front was great and got me in quickly and the lady who did the rapid test was also very friendly. Dr. Baker came in and had the absolute WORST bedside manner I have ever witnessed. Tried talking me out of a PCR test, touted his credentials (saying they weren’t my primary care physician and he was busy because he was the Doctor for the Giants). Going forward I don’t care if I have to wait 5 hours for a COVID test as long as I don’t have to see that guy again.

Dr. Baker is absolutely wonderful. He was my doctor when I lived in NJ and he was one that listened. His bedside manner is like no others. When every specialist gave up he didn’t give up on me. Thanks to his persistence he was able to find my cancer and act immediately with my oncologist to have it removed. I have never seen a doctor that cares for his patients as much as he does.

Very Poor Management skills to run a health care service. I was unnecessarily tested for Vitamin D and then billed inappropriately to collect more money. As a result, I have a overdue bill with LabCorp because of the wrong codes provided by Riverside Medical Group, Secaucus. The worst part is, it is IMPOSSIBLE to get anyone to fix THEIR OWN MISTAKE. The billing department is a HUGE HASSLE here. No correct response from his employees. No idea why he pays them !!! Getting service from this medical group is just NOT WORTH IT.

The office is literally not concerned with me because He is not my PCP as per their record and the Secretary told me that they are not gonna be paid despite the fact that I regularly go there for my monthly bloodworks and follow up since January and my insurance pay them as per EOB I was denied even I told them I can see any MD without a referrals. I have EPO Liberty network. They ask me to call my insurance before I can be seen but it’s Saturday. I was pulled out the room and I was so insulted

The best, thanks to his expertices, knowledge and his ability to truly listen I am starting to feel like myself, and leave behind a long year of visits to the ER, doctors and feeling terribly ill, with everyone saying results are normal, everything seems fine. He LISTEN TO ME, assess the information order the right blood work, my vitamin D was on the floor along with other stuff. So thankful that 2 1/2 months Ago I made the choice to visit DR. I.Baker!
