Dr Syed, Amy, and his entire staff have changed my life! I have lived my entire life with scoliosis and the past 40 years with rheumatoid arthritis- so a life of chronic pain.Dr Syed and his team performed a laminectomy and lumbar fusion in 2018 and in December 2024 a cervical 3 disc replacement and fusion. I can honestly declare I have no pain and a scar that is barely visible. The staff communicated proactively during pre and post surgery and during these post surgery follow ups. Syed and his team are all wonderful and work so well as a well oiled machine! Highly recommend them all!

I recently had spine surgery with Dr. Ishaq Y. Syed and I couldn't be more grateful for the exceptional care that I received. From the very first consultation, Dr Syed took the time to thoroughly explain any spine and nerve questions and took a nice conservative approach before diving into an MRI. We started small and when that didn't resolve any of my pain or symptoms, then we proceeded with an MRI. I really appreciate how thorough and compassionate he is with his patients. If you are really looking for a phenomenal spine surgeon, I guarantee you that you would not be disappointed.

Dr Syed discovered the issue with my spine and took care of the problem with his knowledge, surgery skills , and compassion. I was very wary of having the surgery- the spine is so important & a scary surgery to have. But - no worries - Dr Syed knows what he is doing & is extremely skilled . He had a different approach that some of my friends had experienced with other surgeons. Everything was VERY successful & afterward - I am back to normal without any complications. He listens to you, and comes up with a solution for what is needed . It’s been a couple of years now & I am still pain free and have regained total normalcy. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM !

Dr. Syed has really helped me out in the mist of all my pain for my sciatica nerve. He has been such an amazing doctor to make sure that I am well with everything. He will tell you the pros and cons of everything and never push anything on you but let you know what he feels can be beneficial to your health. After surgery it was amazing the release of pain I have on my body. Excellent bed side manners for a doctor to have. I am grateful that I found him to help me with this problem I was having for several years.

Dr. Syed is beyond amazing! He is not only knowledgeable but extremely friendly and very thorough! I had been having back pain for 7 months and went to a chiropractor for 3 months who couldn't figure out why I was having pain and it only became worse.I went in to see Dr. Syed and he immediately got x-rays of my back and within a few min told me my diagnosis and how to treat it. Let me tell you, it's been six weeks and my back feels so much better! I am so thankful to him and his staff for their expertise and commitment to excellent patient care. I would highly recommend anyone having back issues go see Dr. Syed ASAP!!

Caring and compassionate

I was in a lot of pain in my lower back, I went to see Dr. Syed and he and his team explained everything really well. I was scared of having the surgery, but now, I feel way better than I was feeling before surgery.

After receiving several opinions and evaluations from highly regarded Orthopedic Spine and Neurosurgeons, I am beyond thrilled with my decision to select Dr Syed to perform surgery on my neck. It was imperative to me to have a Board Certified surgeon conduct the surgery as opposed to a Resident or Fellow in my circumstance. Dr Syed is extremely competent, intelligent, and has excellent communication skills in addition to a superb bed-side manner. His staff is reflective of his precision to detail and placing the patient and safety as a priority. I did not have any complications during or after surgery and Dr Syed was available every step of the way to answer all of my questions and concerns ! I cannot recommend Dr Syed or his staff enough !!

As a PA-C myself, I am highly critical when it comes to my own experience as a patient. Dr. Syed and Amy Evans, PA-C are a great duo as well as their entire team. Dr. Syed did my microdiscectomy for my herniated disc about 6 years ago. My sciatic pain was instantly gone after surgery and it has never come back. I routinely refer my own patients to Dr. Syed.

I was terrified to have back surgery & hoped I chose the right surgeon. I did!!! I’ve had issues on & off for 14-15 yrs. The past three yrs were miserable. Thanks to Dr Sayed, my pain is gone! I was able to walk (with a walker) without pain the day after surgery! (T-10 -S2 fusion, laminectomy, etc) I’m 5 mos out & can hardly wait to see how great things are when I’m fully healed!
