Dr. Isaac Sasson, MD

I can’t recommend Dr. Sasson enough. I am currently 21 weeks along with our first child, thanks to him and his team at Shady Grove. In addition to his excellent credentials and just being really good at what he does, he has the best bedside manner of any doctor I’ve met. My case wasn’t simple, but he never gave up on us. And, I feel like he was always honest and straight-forward in his recommendations. I always got the impression that the nurses and staff highly respected him, as well, which says a lot. He was recommended to me by a friend, and I’ll continue to recommend him to others!

After trying for over a year and receiving discouraging test results, my OB sent me to Shady Grove Fertility. I live almost 2 hours from the Chesterbrook office but had several strong recommendations from friends to see Dr. Sasson. Upon my first appointment with Dr. Sasson, he suspected I had endometriosis, which had never been diagnosed by my primary OB. It took me a few months to settle with the idea of proceeding with IVF, but once I did, I knew I was making the right decision. Dr. Sasson was so kind, caring, encouraging, and realistic with the best course of action for me. He recommended we do carrier genetic testing, test our embryos, and that I do the ReceptivaDx test to confirm endometriosis – which then gave us a specific protocol to follow for both egg retrieval and transfer. Less than a year after our initial appointment with Dr. Sasson, I had a frozen embryo transfer and was pregnant. Recently we welcomed a happy and healthy baby girl and I have Dr. Sasson to thank!

We came to Dr. Sasson for a second opinion 3 years into trying to have a baby and after four failed rounds of IVF at another clinic. His kindness and compassion and the personal attention and time he gave us from the first appointment blew us away. It wasn’t an easy conversation - he steered us toward using donor eggs - but we appreciated his honesty and his confidence that we could have the family we’ve dreamed of. He walked us through every step - I don’t know how he finds time in his busy day to personally do his patients’ embryo transfers and call them personally for important milestones, but he does! When our first embryo transfer failed he took the time to meet with us and tweak the plan rather than continue trying the same thing over and over. I am finally pregnant and can’t wait to return to him for the next addition to our family. We'll forever be grateful for Dr. Sasson!

I got the reference of Dr Sasson from one of my friends. I was in desperate need of a good doctor after wasting a lot of time and money and some of the top fertility clinics in the new york city. I chose shared risk program because I knew I might need a couple of cycles to get a success. During our first consultation itself with Dr Sasson we felt he was very compassionate, empathetic and still very straight forward. It took us 2 retrievals and 4 transfers to get pregnant. Dr Sasson tried different protocols specific to our needs, and before every cycle we discussed the protocols and explained why we are doing it. I can't thank enough Megan Cassey, my nurse. There are so many steps and details to follow that without her support, it would have been possible. We would highly recommend Dr. Sasson and SGF Chesterbrook to anyone looking to grow their family through IVF process. We started our journey of seeking fertility assistance through a different clinic. As the fertility process evolved, we sensed several things which made us grow hesitant to the point we decided to look for a different clinic and provider. After some research, we found SGF Chesterbrook and Dr. Sasson. From the very beginning, we were able to experience the difference in care, quality and attention to detail that Dr. Sasson and SGF offered us. They are a very compassionate and knowledgeable team. I can say we have been incredibly blessed as  we achieved a successful pregnancy after our first IVF cycle! There are simply not enough words to express how grateful we are with the Lord, in the first place, and then, with Dr. Sasson and SGF. At this moment, my wife is 7 month pregnant and we can't wait to meet our baby boy Sammy!

After a year of wasted time and $$ at another clinic we found Dr. Sasson. Specifically looking for a shared risk program - he accepted us into his. We bought into it twice and are pregnant with our second miracle because of him and his team. Dr. Sasson is what every doctor should be. He is patient, kind, compassionate, helpful, smart, and ALL OF THE THINGS. I felt confident being in his care from the moment we met him. He would literally do anything for his patients to be successful and you can feel that when you are in his presence. He has not been jaded by years of practice, he genuinely cares about each and every one of his patients. In helping us grow our family he has become more than our doctor, he is our family. We will never be able to repay him for all he did for us but we are grateful that he is doing what he is doing to help people grow their families. We recommend him 10/10 with no reservations. I would travel across the world just so he could be our doctor.

Dr. Sasson may be the best doctor I’ve had. His breadth of experience coupled with his compassion and patience makes him so uniquely equipped to help families struggling with infertility. I have both a genetic translocation along with PCOS making conceiving a child on my own incredibly difficult. Dr. Sasson always took the time to explain his treatment plan in detail and answer all of our questions. I always felt confident and aligned going into each new cycle. We had heartbreak along the way and Dr. Sasson always met us there in those moments with such empathy. Ultimately, with his help we have two precious boys (3.5 years and 5 months). The rest of the Chesterbrook team provided the same level of compassion and care and I genuinely miss seeing all of them (Nikki, Elyse, London, Erica, Abby and so many others were the absolute best!) I have recommended him time and time again!

With Dr.Sasson I left the clinic being pregnant and had a baby . It was with the first IVF attempt at this clinic, even if IVF failed multiple times in 2 different clinics. Dr. Sasson took different approach/ protocol rather than doing same protocol that failed multiple times before. He is best in my eyes!!

I can’t say enough great things about Dr. Sasson. I started working with him to freeze my eggs then moved on to embryo transfers when I was ready to become a mom. Dr. Sasson is so knowledgeable, patient, and understanding. He is very supportive and honest. He listened to me and provided me guidance and his recommendations for the best possible path to get pregnant. Dr. Sasson is kind, caring, and empathetic. Through stage IV endometriosis and recurrent pregnancy loss, Dr. Sasson was there for me. I was able to get pregnant and deliver my rainbow baby. I got my miracle baby, but if I was trying for baby #2, I would definitely go back to see Dr. Sasson. He is the best!

I couldn’t imagine going through this fertility journey without Dr. Sasson and team. He has the appropriate balance of a having a methodical approach, positive energy, empathy, and support. After two egg retrievals and transfers, I have two healthy babies at home. I can’t thank him enough for all that he has done for my family. Highly recommend is an understatement.

Thanks to Dr. Sasson, after 8 years of infertility I’m finally expecting twins. I had the pleasure of working with Dr. Sasson and his amazing staff. Dr. Sasson and his team at Shady Grove Chesterbrook were so great to work with. Our fertility journey was a long one but definitely worth it.
