Dr. Cohen came highly recommended by another doctor. He was the 1st physician, in a very long time, who truly took his time and listened to what I was saying. Dr. Cohen is gifted at his craft, and his bedside manner is incredible. I had been in terrible pain for too long and after my initial visit, I felt confident that Dr. Cohen would do whatever was possible to help alleviate my pain. He gave me hope when I felt hopeless and worked with me until I found relief. You are in great hands if you are under his care. I highly recommend Dr. Cohen and many family members and friends feel exactly like I do!

Dr. Cohen is outstanding every time I've seen him. I've had epidural needles twice in my lower back to try to manage the pain . I've also been for a consultation on ablation. I'm going back for more treatments in my back and equally my hip. Dr. Cohen noticed my hip was contributing to my back pain (no other doctors seemed to acknowledge this problem). I trust Dr. Cohen. He is extremely professional, explains procedures, and listens to your questions and concerns. I have and will continue to recommend Dr. Cohen and the CT Orthopaedics!

As a disabled Veteran I relied on the VA Doctors for medical care. When all the VA Doctors told me I had to learn to live with the terrible pain I was having I went to Doctor Cohen for a second medical opinion. He examined me and my VA CT Scans and found that I had 5 orthopedic treatable problems which the VA was overlooking. I had 2 disc in my neck pressing against my spinal cord that needed immediate emergency surgery. He also found I from my VA X-rays that I showed bone on bone rubbing on my right hip and both shoulders. He then told me that my Lumbar X-rays showed that my L5 nerve was compressing. Doctor Cohen gave me a new lease on life after my first visit. I have since had 3 major orthopedic operations and still require one more. Doctor Cohen diagnosis of all my health problems has given me my life back with far less pain and discomfort. There is no higher praise I can offer Doctor Cohn and his other fellow Doctors at Connecticut Orthopedics Center. He is Terrific!

Dr Cohen listened attentively to my problem & concerns! He ordered an MRI for the specific area I was having pain. (Which had not been done before). Eureka!! There was the answer that had been missed! I had been suffering for many months without any relief, & no hope. He found the answer to why I had so much pain. As surprising as it was, it can be fixed! I can actually be able to enjoy the active life I had before. I would recommend Dr. Cohen to any & all who wants someone who will listen, dig deeper & go beyond the normal steps. Dr. Cohen REALLY CARES!!

Dr. Cohen had an excellent bedside manner, gave a through explanation of his diagnosis and proposed treatments. He clearly answered all questions that I had. I feel very comfortable having Dr Cohen as my provider.

Initial visits seemed rushed, offered options without much explanation or recommendations. Later visits showed concern with excellent results of epidural procedure.

I got what I can only call the bum's rush. He looked at my x-ray, barely examined me, asked a few questions and said he'd like me to have an MRI done. I told him I was nervous about MRI's, he said OK, keep doing what you are doing and come back in a month and started leaving the room, no summary, no do you have any question, no see you, nothing. With his one foot out the door, I asked if I can take any OTC medication to help the pain. He said you can take some Gabapentin, if you'd like. He never checked my medical conditions, medications, or gave me a chance to ask what Gabapentin is. He was gone. His nurse came in and said OK, so take a course of the Gabapentin and when you are finished, call for an appointment. These were not his instructions to me. Perhaps if I'd been younger and more buff I'd have gotten more attention.

Previous doctors I had seen gave me no real answers - they simply told me what it was not. From the moment I met Dr. Cohen I felt much more at ease. When I left his office I felt much more hopeful about my condition.

Dr Isaac Cohen is a pain management specialist with offices in Trumbull at CT Orthopedics. He recently treated me for low back pain. He is triple Board Certified and extremely skilled in performing procedures. He is personable, listens and answers questions well. This was my first treatment of this type and I was surprised it was so easy and painless. Dr Cohen offers many procedures for pain relief and I look forward to going back to him for my osteoarthritic knees when it is time. I would recommend him to my family and friends.

I have been treated by Dr. Cohen several times on the past years for injections into my lower back as well as for cervical neck pain. Without exception. Dr. Cohen has always been very personable, kind, compassionate and extremely skilled in his treatment approach. I have seen Dr. Cohen for many years for SI and Lumbar Transforaminal injections, however on my last two visits he was very distracted. He spent more time chitchatting with his assistant than he did paying attention to me while he was doing the injection. Then on my follow up visit in December I walked in (I was in agony my back having gone into spasm that morning) he asked how I was doing after the last injection, when I told him I couldn't really say as I was in way too much pain from my back. His comment was "Let's not talk about what happened this morning, we're not here for that!" I was disgusted!!! I will not go back to him. JB. Trumbull
