Ignored My Concerns - Now Stage 3 Cancer
Thank you Dr. Harper for ignoring my concerns about abdonimal pain and blood in stool. Your words ring in my ears daily: "we dont have to do those screenings, because youre vegan." Because of you, we didn't catch my colon cancer early! I trusted you that my pain was fine, blood in stool was normal. It took 3 more painful years until I received the appropriate screenings by doctors who actually care...only to find out I have colon cancer...by then, stage 3. You were also 2 hours late for our appointment, so that was the cherry on top.

This Doctor was a fill in for my primary doctor, not only did he take forever, running late to just call me for my appointment but when I finally got on the phone with him he sounded harsh toned, grouchy and rushed. I never respond well to people who bring bad vibes to me. He barely engaged with me and made me feel like a burden. The call lasted less than a few minutes. I don't recommend this doctor to ANYONE. I've had different fill in doctors but this guy definitely has a bias against certain patients and/or just hates his job and takes his bad attitude out on innocent people that deserve respect and compassion. The oath to do no harm is something all doctors swear to do, but less and less including this guy forgets mental health can be harmed. I have multiple conditions and he did not even ask how I was doing or feeling, he just filled scripts and hung up. He had TERRIBLE bedside manners & doesn't even try to communicate or listen. I'm concerned for his actual primary patients.

Finding Dr. Harper was a most wonderful accident. He was filling in at a clinic on TBI. He listened carefully and solved several of my issues in one sitting. This is a first for me in HI. Every doctor I have seen in 2020 is one issue at a time, good luck and see you in a month. I have every intention of obtaining Kaiser Permanente Insurance so I may continue to see Dr. Harper via phone interview and receive the benefits of his caring wisdom. I have had the low bidder, insurance doctors for twenty years. I have suffered and been refused common solutions and treatments because of the rules these company Doctors put you through. This man is different! F.H.O.

He was extremely determined to ignore what I told him about old skull fractures, then he looked me in the eyes and LIED, saying that old injuries aren't visible in Xrays. Then, he prescribed a "cocktail" of drugs "for migraines". My headaches are not migraines. The cocktail poisoned my basal ganglion permanently. My brain. I am now wracked with dystonia. I had some brain damage before. Enough to make me a little too simple and trusting. Now my life is destroyed, because this person refused to listen. Because he felt he knew more about a patient than the patient himself. I cannot comprehend how he is still a doctor, I cant be the only one. He prescribed me drugs I am allergic to, it's written in my file. He added DANGEROUS new prescriptions. A year ago I was an artist. Now I cannot drink water without taking a bath. This person destroyed my life. Arrogantly, and with no evidence of remorse. I cannot comprehend how he is still practicing medicine. He lied, then poisoned me.
