Was very high anxiety for my daughter, asking questions that my daughter was having trouble finding since were sent via text from another doctor and not in the mountain of paper work retrieved for Escurza. Escurza seemed very impatient and harsh. Hard to understand due to fast explanations and accent. Had to ask for clarification of decisions a few times since very hard to understand.

Whip smart doctor. There is a terrible endocrinologist in Longmont called Irina Robinson, who misdiagnoses people often. This endocrinologist saved me from such a misdiagnosis, and cleaned up Robinson's mess. I actually suspect reviews are rigged a bit, by staffers, because Robinson has a very bad reputation by word of mouth, and this lady is wonderful. She and her office will go to bat for you, to get the right medicine, education about your condition and treatment.

Prior one star reviews are spot on. Dismissive, condescending, and worst of all, incompetent. If you want to go with a cookie cutter approach from a ten year old medical playbook, please be my guest. If you're a man, definitely don't see her. She has no clue about testosterone replacement therapy, or the tests that support such treatment. I could go on, but trust me, go anywhere else. The office staff was friendly and fast. So that's something.

Dr. Eskurza has been just the right doc for me. I had seen another endocrinologist before who was just awful -- Dr. Eskurza on the other hand has given me very kind, personalized care. She's open to trying different things, and I feel like her medical knowledge is up to date. It's very easy to call her office and schedule/reschedule, and I love her assistant!

I have been seeing Dr. Escurza for a year. I am extremely picky when it comes to my physicians, but especially an endocrinologist. She has been so patient with me - and the lack of MD trust I have. She listens well, answers my questions, and is open to my treatment ideas. It has taken me several years to find someone like her. My favorite endocrinologist retired and I’ve been without one worthy of keeping. Thank you, Dr. Escurza, for being a great solution to my low thyroid and Type 1D needs.
