Dr. Ingrid Van Swearingen, MD

Dr. Van Swearingen is a fantastic doctor! She is incredibly knowledgeable, listens well, and works with you to develop a plan to address any health issues you may have. She is very supportive and cares about making you feel better!

Dr. Van Swearingen is incredibly intelligent and strikes a great balance between caring/empathetic and analytical/professional. I feel confident in her care and her recommendations and have never had a negative experience with her.

I would have rated 0 star if it had one. This was the worst doctor I have ever had in my life. First, she made me wait for more 10 mins before showing up. Then she kept preferring me to the all the OUT-Of-Network providers which ended up thousands of dollars of medical bill sending my way that I had to deal with. Their billing department at Virginia Mason Edmond were so irresponsible enough to blame on me of not checking before going to the preferred specialists (which I assumed my PCP Dr would have known better before referring me there). I would not prefer this Dr or Virginia Mason Edmond to anyone.

While I arrived 10 minutes before my appointment, I was kept waiting for a total of 40 minutes. I needed to get back to work and was about to leave and just reschedule when she told me she'd be in shortly. She was patronizing and dismissive when she finally did get herself into the examination room. This was just for a routine check-up. I will avoid this doctor at all costs going forward.

Absolutely awful experience with this new Dr, I don't usullay complain but I like to share it so it won't happen to anyone. Why schedule a patient , when you don't care, nor respect them. Waiting 2&1/2 hrs,no sincere appology, not even get checked thoroughly for my annual. Unfortunatly, I will not recommend her. This was my 2nd experience with her. And felt humiliated, ignored, and wasted my precious time for not being received professionally!
