Unprofessional
Had an appointment to go over MRI and he just pops his head in the door and says “you have 2 collapsed discs” and then he goes to lunch. Really poor attitude. I am getting a new doctor. Don’t waste your time.

Never Again!
Went to him for Carpal Tunnel surgery. One week before the surgery I fell and broke my hand. He said I did not need a cast and he could still do the surgery. Got the surgery done (that surgery was all good) 4 weeks after the surgery went back because my fracture was just hurting terribly! He said nope it was healed! Sent me to OT. Well now 11 weeks since the fall/fracture I was hospitalized for about a week (illness) and my Doctor at the hospital did an X-ray because it was swollen and hurt. Report came back saying it was a compound fracture and had extended up into my finger. They splinted it wrapped it and said don’t touch it until I got to my Surgon so he could cast it. So today I finally got in and he said my hand was fine, healed that the other guy didn’t know what he was talking about and I should go back to the other Doctor and ask for an MRI! He knows that’s not how it works HE needed to prescribe the MRI. He should have cast it and delayed the surgery and he knows it!

Went to the good doctor regarding my injured shoulder. He was very nice during my appt and said that my surgery was' above my pay grade," he recommended a Tamp surgeon who did not accept my insurance. He directed me to go to ER at Tampa General as it was an emergency. I complied. Once there it was a fiasco. I called his office three times with no call return. After experiencing a traumatic day and without resolution my brother finally reached him and he effectively refused additional assistance refusing to even speak to the physicians. This is symptomatic of deteriorating Healthcare in this country. So much for the hi0pocrativ oath, first do no harm.

TERRIBLE! What a waste of months of our time. He is arrogant & does not allow options, patient input, and will have NO part of patient education - not even describing the upcoming surgery to his patient! DO NOT GO TO HIM. DO NOT, DO NOT, DO NOT!

would not recommend. does not offer options. i was referred to him by my primary dr. because of pain in both hips, diagnosed as trochanteric bursitis. over 11 months, dr. tarabishy gave me 6 corticosteroid shots in the right hip, and 2 in the left. never was any other treatment proferred, no prescription anti-inflammatory offered, either oral or topical. none of the 'otc' products i tried were any help. i learned of a product (anti-inflammatory) through a pharmacist, 'diclofenac' about which i asked my primary dr., who prescribed. wonderful pain relief, but does have some possible side effects. i also learned about bursa removal, as possible permanent pain relief. through a different dr., i just had the right hip bursa removed, and am waiting to heal and schedule surgery for the left one.

I went to see Dr Tarabishy because of an infection in the Duputryn's contracture node of my hand that was inflammed and painful. He advised me to soak it in epsom salts and warm water several times a day and advised he could not do surgery until the infection had cleared up. I left his office and went to a walk-in clinic where they drained the abscess, cultured it and put me on antibiotics. I had another surgeon do my hand surgery and have no confidence in Dr Tarabishy.

Likeable guy but the knee replacement he gave me was a disaster. Another doctor recommends another replacement because I am still in pain and stiffness after 35 physical therapies. Don't do it!
