Excellent Doctor
I have osteoarthritis in my knee and went to see Dr. Bendich after a friend highly recommended him. Dr. Bendich and his team were caring and professional. Dr. Bendich spent a significant amount of time talking to me about my knee issues, even showing the X-ray done during my visit to the original done when I first injured my knee. He said I would benefit from physical therapy and that a knee replacement was not necessary at the time. He also recommended a steroid shot could be helpful. I highly recommend Dr. Bendich because he spent time explaining everything and I feel 100% confident and trust him.

Dr Bendich was super. I required a new knee and he told me he would take care of me. He did that and more. I was walking morally a little over a week and I reached the 135 degree bend in my knee the second week. In my opinion, you cannot beat that nor Dr Bendich. He was so good he is replacing my other knee soon and my wife has a visit scheduled.

Expert Care
A year ago, I had a total hip replacement under the care of Dr. Ilya Bendich. Dr. Bendich was great from our first meeting and throughout my care. He is a compassionate, caring and highly skilled surgeon. He took the time to understand my hip issues and how it was affecting my life. He then very carefully created a treatment plan that focused on giving me the best possible outcome. He was attentive and very genuine both pre- and post-op, including during my recovery and follow-up visits. His skills as a surgeon are incredible-he performed the robotic assisted procedure with no issues and my recovery was very smooth. I credit this to Dr. Bendich's attention to every detail and his skilled hands and bright mind. I am enjoying my life with no hip pain slowing me down. If you are looking for an outstanding surgeon that also has genuine care and compassion for his patients, then Dr. Bendich is your man. I highly recommend him and am thankful for his skills every day.

Amazing Knee Replacement Doctor!!!!!
Dr. Bendich did a robotic knee replacement on me April 22nd, 2024. He warned me about all the risks in advance including that the surgery would be very difficult because my legs had bowed due to excessive weight that I had to lose in order to get the surgery. The surgery was a success and he used cutting edge practices to prevent infection. I started PT 4 days after surgery per his instructions and followed the exercise & therapy regime. It's now been a little over a month and I am doing great. I am leaps & bounds ahead of others who had surgery the same time by other doctors. He is honest and direct with you and I would recommend him to anyone needing a joing replacement. You have to follow his instructions but you will recover quickly! I now enjoy taking walks with my wife which I haven't been able to do in several years! I am so glad we found Dr. Bendich!

Hip Replacement Surgery: No More Pain, 100% Better
Hip arthritis pain increased for months. NSAIDS, steroids, opiods, injections but no relief. I was “bone on bone” - needed surgery.Dr. Bendich was highly recommended. He advised anterior approach: reduced infection risk and quicker recovery (no need to cut muscles in rear). Gave full and fair description of procedure and cautions about risks and recovery time.I was trepidatious, but it needed to be done. Well cared in pre-op, great surgical team, then I’m waking up in recovery. Surgery went very well, no complications. I was up and moving same day, then discharged that afternoon. After months of suffering, the next day no hip pain. A week with a walker and a week with a cane, and I'm moving solo again. 30 days out and all is great. Walking 4-5 miles a day (like a year ago) and only pain is muscles learning to be used again.Dr. Bendich was very professional, highly skilled, and extremely careful. Excellent training, and knows the latest procedures. I'll call him first next time.
