Very unprofessional to me and my son and treated us like kids even though he is 15. She promised him that if he gains 6 more pounds he will be perfectly on track for his average height. Now she is saying that never happened and is forcing him to get his blood drawn even though he has a phobia of needles and made my son cry because she went back on her word.

Dr. Fennoy is a caring, patient, understanding, and knowledgeable doctor. She was my pediatric endocrinologist and she is now my daughter's endocrinologist. There is a long wait for your appointment so don't make any plans or make sure you take off work if you bring your child. However she takes her time with you and doesn't rush through the appointment which is probably why the wait is long. She communicates promptly through the Columbia App. When I call I usually get a call back from her. She does laugh when speaking some make take it offensive but it's just her personality. I wouldn't want anyone else to care for my daughter.

We had a very poor experience with Dr. Fennoy. After traveling into the city to see Dr. Fennoy, we were expecting a real professional as she is employed at Columbia Hospital. She did not fully explain my daughter's condition to her or to me and she did not address my daughter even though she was 15. She spoke to me as if my daughter was a little child. She also made my daughter feel as though she is overweight because she is lazy and not a result of the condition she is suffering from. She did not have great bedside manner to say the least. We were very disappointed.

I arrived 20min early to my appt. After waiting 50min, I asked Dr. Fennoy's asst how much longer I should expect to wait & was told up to another 30min: the Dr had been busy with 1 patient all morning. I then went back to my seat in the waiting area and googled a photo of Dr. Fennoy and realized that she had been back and forth seeing 3 patients already. It would have been just as EASY and PROFESSIONAL to be told the Dr was behind schedule. After 90 min, we left UNSEEN. Horrible experience.
