Dr. Igor Matwijiw, MD

I came to see him because an internet doctor put me on methimazole, and I wanted a real doctor to take over management of this medication. I was also having a large number of symptoms I wanted explained. The first time I met him, he came into the exam room where I was waiting, sat down on the stool, and proceeded to write in some chart or paperwork for around 3 minutes before finding time to introduce himself. He was dismissive of my symptoms and rude--there were several times he made comments to the effect I hadn't done everything I could do to get well. I showed him my hand tremor and he showed me his. I told him I was fatigued and exhausted all the time but had exaggerated response to stress. He didn't help with any of that, and I had to beg him to do any testing. After the testing, I never heard from his office. I was still looking for a diagnosis when I decided to find ANY OTHER ENDOCRINOLOGIST because I am of the opinion that he's a bad doctor. Not board certified either.

Love dr Matt, he’s blunt and to the point. Doesn’t sugar coat anything, tells you what you need to do for your health and figures out ways to help you. Love all of his staff also

his office staff are all very kind, professional and accommodating. I sincerely trust Dr. Matt. I see no need to go out of town to see another dr. to treat me for diabetes and metabolism . Love his socks !!!!!

Tries to work with YOU to come up with the best treatment. Explains what needs to be done, why it needs to be done, and what it takes to get there. By the way the two ladies at the front desk are super. I just love them! They make things easy for people like me.

Absolutely no bedside manners. Talks above you not with you. Doesn't read your chart before coming in and spitting all over you. (Figure of speech) It's very unfortunate that he's the only endocrinologist in the area. His nurse is very nice. He doesn't deserve someone like her. I wouldn't even give a star. Not deserving of that.

Has treated me for Graves Disease for years.Very informative,professional and is up to date on treatments for endocrinology. Great staff too!! They are very friendly,no issues getting an appointment.

The doctor was great the receptionist was a very rude woman and wouldn't even let me tell her what I needed before constantly cutting me off. I was told to bring in disc on the phonne for copies to be made and drove a 60 mile round trip and was told they don't accept disc.
